Bön restaurent japonnais si vous passer dans le coin. Le cadre est super: situé sous une verrière regroupant plusieurs restaurants. Sont proposés des gyozas, Ramen … Les sont bon mais sans plus. Les service est parfait et rapide.

Absolutely no coverage here. Not sure why areas like this don’t have WiFi. Good food. Regular Wagamama food. They now encourage people to pay using Qkr. Don’t remember exactly if that was the name. But they did give us a card with the details. I just forgot to keep it with me after food. Great for groups. But you’d be lucky to find a table for all your mates together. I’ve posted some pictures of the stuff we had, fresh juice is really nice and not common everywhere, so you should try it out. I tried the ginger chicken udong noodles, which were lovely. I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Overrated, overpriced, inauthentic«Asian fusion» restaurant. I hate restaurants that can’t stick to one cuisine! Food had no flavour and it just tasted spicy. My JAPANESEDISH didn’t even come with JAPANESE rice. Heard this place was crap and my visit today proved that right.

I’ve been here a number of times. It’s a quick fix. Fusion type asian food that is not particularly inspiring. I say this as a comparison between the Wagamama’s chain and independent eateries in London. The food scene is booming here at such a fast rate that you can find plenty better. However as not to sound harsh this was the original place to get a Katsu Curry though. And a Pad Thai. Two dishes that really did put Wagamama’s on the map and also a staple of their cuisine they cook. Those are good. Though I can’t help but feel the quality has gone down over the years.

The taste is slighly different then in Antwerp. I prefer the taste in Antwerp more. It is more spiced up in Antwerp. I took the yasai yaki soba and my partner chicken katsu curry. Poor taste. Pitty

Efficient take away service, took a grand total of 27 seconds to place my order and the food was ready I time when I turned up to pick it up. Unfortunately I decided to try something different from normal and I got the Chili Chicken Men. It looked like a plate of slop, the sauce was a bit watery and the limited amount of chicken in the dish was tough. I usually get the Ginger Chicken Udon or the Katsu Curry which are both delicious, next time I will stick to what I know and like.

I had to write a review of this particular branch of Wagamama to give a shout out to the wonderful manager, Amos. My sister and I stopped in to soak up some Friday night cocktails with rice and noodles. We started with some garlic and chilli edamame. My sister managed to find the one extremely hot piece of chilli in the dish, and had a quite spectacular reaction to it — the side of her mouth was, in her words, «on fire». Actually, to be honest it just sounded like«mmmmaaaggghhh» but I quickly understood what she meant by her crazed arm waving and frantic pointing. Amos swooped into action, quite brilliantly bringing over an ice lolly, which soon sorted out the heat and restored my sister to her usual self. In all seriousness, he was really sympathetic, extremely apologetic and so warm in helping us. The rest of the experience was great too — we sat«outside» although it’s still under the market roof. We could watch all the stall holders noisily putting their stalls away and it felt like a fun, fairly unique atmosphere. The food is absolutely the usual Wagamama fare — lots of scrummy noodles that enabled us to go on and have some more(cooling) cocktails!

I had the fortune(or misfortune) of trying two entrees recently. I started with pad thai. It was ok, but the flavors weren’t well balanced. Sometime during that meal I bit into something hard. I pulled it out and it was slightly see through. I pulled a waiter over and asked about it. Fortunately, it was uncooked rice. They did comp the pad thai and what I wanted as a replacement, so I tried the miso ramen. The miso was ok, again lacking flavor layers that I desire and am used to. Overall, disappointed, but pluses for customer service.

Wagamama’s was one of the pioneers in the UK for quick, healthy, asian food served up in a casual communal dining area. i think it is still pretty nice although over priced now(and not the most authentic of Asian food either). The dishes are also tailored for the western palate. Not much spice at all. Although they will give you extra fresh chilli on the side if you ask. Overall, if you are looking for a quick asian style meal fix I would recommend, although London now has so many of these types of eateries including Busaba Eathai & Cha Cha Moon — which are cheaper and more authentic. If you only want to eat the most authentic Asian food going, this probably is not your thing. I do recommend this place If you are new to Asian food, it’s always a safe bet. I think you’d enjoy it!

Ugh. I like the attempt, but it is not good at all. I get the concept of healthy Japanese food in London, but you have to make it somewhat decent. And it is not by a long long shot. I tried a couple of items which I quickly regretted on trying because it is the worst Japanese food I have ever tried. Seriously no joke. And I love Japanese food. I tried the: duck gyoza — five deep-fried duck and leek dumplings, served with a spicy cherry hoi sin sauce —- COMPLETEFAILURE. It was fried so hard that it the skin to the gyoza exposed the duck. It was a tangy disaster. chilli squid — deep-fried squid seasoned with sea salt and shichimi(japanese chilli pepper) served with a chilli, garlic and coriander dipping sauce —– The only item that tasted OK. It is fried for god sakes. It should taste decent if you put it in the fryer… chicken katsu curry — chicken breast deep-fried in panko breadcrumbs, served with a curry sauce and sticky white rice. garnished with mixed leaves and red pickles —- The curry chicken katsu that was fried so hard it tasted like a over crispy dry piece of cardboard. It did not taste healthy, and the curry well I could’ve made a better tasting curry if I just went and bought a curry mix from some Asian supermarket. The only thing they got right was the red pickles. chilli ramen chicken — noodles in a spicy chicken and pork soup topped with your choice of chicken or beef sirloin, beansprouts, red and spring onions and chillies. garnished with coriander and lime —– SUPERDUPERFAIL… I mean instant noodles are better than this. They use one type of broth to full fill their«udon/ramen selections» on the menu. It is very bland and tasted like vegetables. The chicken tasted like some dry unflavored processed crap from the frozen selection. I heard about the food in London before arriving. I like the forward movement of international flavors to be introduced to locals, but this franchise is all wrong. I like the healthy concept and fast food take out cafeteria bench style type of service. But if you can’t make a real decent tasting Japanese meal then your cheating your customers. It gives a bad impression on how real Japanese food actually should taste like… And yes I understand they are trying to promote healthy. Also when you have chefs that are black guys… non Asian cooking your food it is cool, but when it turns out that your gyoza or katsu is fried like a Southern Fried CHICKEN fried to shit. then I think MORE training should be provided because it tasted HORRIBLE. Also kinda $$ for crappy Japanese food. Save your pounds for a real legit place. Yes, it might be further out of the way, and YES it might be a wait. BUT it is real Japanese food, and BLOODY damn good if you find the right one. My two cents.

Wagamamas is amazing. The food is delicious and you don’t feel so full after so it’s a nice and healthy sort of food that really does the trick. My personal choice is the chicken ramen which comes in a huge bowel with noodles, chicken and some veggies as well. They give you chop sticks and a huge spoon to scoop our the broth after or to help you with the noodles. This place also has a lot of other things besides soup, they have tons of noodles and wonderful pot stickers. The service is always good and the atmosphere is very friendly and pleasant.

While I don’t think their ramen is the best I’ve ever had, as far as London food chains go, this is definitely my favorite. I love communal eating and Asian fusion always. The Yasai Katsu Curry is amazing. SO crispy and flavourful(and see ALLLL my other Japanese curry related reviews… I know what I am talking about).

I am a huge fan of Wagamama. It’s clean, fresh and light food that’s filling without making you need to lie down and digest. The restaurants are all bench-orientated and the Spitalfields one is no exception. The service is quick and relatively efficient(staff dependent, obviously). Personally, I tend to visit Waga’s before or after a night out. It’s ideal for drinking on top of(not too heavy) and feels fresh and healthy for when you’re hungover and feeling violated.

Same as everywhere but I am a bit addicted to the chicken itame. I don’t think the mains are too badly priced but do resent how much they charge for their edamame. Also desserts here are quite good for a chain restaurant. This one never seems too busy when I pop in and it has a nice view over the market for people watching on a Sunday.

I had a really bad meal there yesterday, but a lot of that came down to service. The main server we had didn’t seem to care or even want to take our order. In the end it was the man that operated the bar that came and served us. For this there was no excuse, it was a quiet time of day and there were hardly any people in the restaurant so he wasn’t exactly rushed off his feet. When the food came it was ok, but nothing amazing. I like quite a lot of wagamama’s food and branch to branch I have never had any bad dining experiences other than at Spitalfields. For some reason I feel some of the chain restaurants that come to Spitalfields are slightly cursed. Ping Pong isn’t so good there either nor is Wagamama, GBK is just about ok as is Canteen — but that has had its moments. I feel this is a bit of a shame as it potentially could act as a great hub for many lovely restaurants and being so close to where I live its ideal as a place to pop out for a bite to eat that isn’t a bagel or a curry.

These places are formulaic, they’re big empty noisy boxes with mainly bench seats, you get a large plate and it’s not too expensive. Got there early just after midday, it was heaven, quite, plenty of room. We got a booth, it was well comfy had a back to the bench. The staff were cool they were not rushing. Everybody should go early, but then that wouldn’t work would it. Forget I said that, maybe…

Standard Wagamama: The chicken kare lomen is great, tuck a napkin in your shirt, wooden spoons and chopsticks with this curry noodle soup will turn your shirt into a Jackson Pollock. The cha han stir fried rice is carbotastically filling. Eat the white chocolate ginger cheesecake at least once before you die.

Yes. I am a Wagamama addict. Yes i always have the same thing… Yasai Katsu curry. Oh how i love the dressing on the salad, the red pickles, the curry sauce, the fried aubergine… yes all of it !! I am never disappointed with the old Wagas. It’s like an old friend. I trust it. I need it. I miss it. The location is pretty darn great, bang in the middle of spitalfield market, with lots of outside seating. mmm yes i will be here again soon.

Poor service, they completely forgot about my order and by the time I got it my friend was already finishing digesting his dinner! Food was good, usual wagamama flavour, but next time I will probably try another branch.

really? I’m not sure what all the hype is about. or rather, how they are always so busy. wagamama serves overpriced dishes that are underwhelming with service that feels artificial and impersonal. I’ve eaten here a few times, and I’ve always felt let down. the descriptions of the dishes are exciting, but the execution just fails. always a let down.
