Great place. Went here on vacation while trying to find some Asian food, definitely a little westernized but overall delicious. Loved the noodles and the sauce(like chow mein or yakisoba), the braised beef ramen was to die for, the buns were equally great. The portions of the entrees are large but no sharing required if you are hungry.

Everyone raved about the seafood ramen and I was not impressed. Very bland, not much flavor, and lacking substance. Yakiudon was also meh. The flavors didn’t blend well at all. The noodles lacked flavor, too much of the other things, the noodles needed to be fried longer to get the crunchy taste. Chili squid was ok. Nothing to rave about. The chasu bun was amazing. The bun itself was moist, warm, and melts in your mouth. The pork was done right and really flavorful. I was not a fan of the Korean BBQ one. Just the flavors were meh, overall, meh. Wouldn’t recommend. Two stars for chasu bun and free wifi :)

Food was good and well priced. However of the six people eating, three got food before anyone else and drinks hadn’t even arrived at that point. Then about 5 minutes later drinks arrived and then after a while three more dishes arrived so everyone was staggered with eating and drinking. Otherwise very good staff were friendly. Just would have been nice to have all the food arrive at the same point rather than spaced out over 10+ minutes and drinks arrive somewhere in between.

Absolutly not recommend! The food was soso, for one who realy love noodle soup during traveling period, this restaurant provide nothing special. Just like other poorly managed franchise, everything kept in a very low standard. The soup was warm(not hot) when brought to table, this makes it lost flavour and taste bad, the noodle taste just like instant noodles, and most of all, the service was horrible! We got totally ignored for the whole meal time, and the restaurant was only half seated! The waitress seemed trying to avoid to come to our table, though it was our first time there. We chose this restaurant because I checked the review on Unilocal and it got 4 stars from over 30 reviews. I had to say that London people are realy nice and had low requirement of their restaurant. Never come again, will look for other options if want noodles.

We always come to Wagamma whenever we come to London(specifically this location since it is near our hotel). It’s something we don’t have back in the states and I always crave it. Our service is always great. We are seated right away when we arrive even though it was crowded with people who work in the surrounding area. I had the ramen and it had an assortment of seafood such as mussels, squid, shrimp. It was very filling and very tasty. It was just the right amount of saltiness for me and the flavors were very good. I also had the raw juice there. It was very good and didn’t need any added sugar. Our server was very attentive despite it being crowded. I would continue to go back to Wagamma every time I come to London.

Our server was nice. He was helping us with the new way of paying on your phone called Qkr. It’s quite refined enough yet but it’s a good idea. Good meal as always!

I’m a love of Wagamama’s, having had it around the world. My favorite location in London is Mansion House, but was staying nearby this location and thought it would be a good one to try. Also introduced three new people to Wagamama, so I was psyched. Our service was great. We sat outside on a lovely day and it was quiet during an early Monday dinner time. Drinks came quickly, as did the food as always. I had the udon noodles, a change from my normal ramen(largely because they have gotten rid of the seafood ramen, which was always my favorite). It was tasty, with slight spice but overall good flavor. You can’t go wrong with udon. My wife and her aunt had chicken raisukaree — chicken with Japanese curry. It was really very good, but both of them felt a little iffy afterwards. Neither had had Japanese curry before, so likely that’s the situation. Wife’s uncle had ramen, and enjoyed it. So, all food was good but none was amazing. Solid outing, but I still find the food at other locations better for whatever reason. Will always return to Wagamama, but I still prefer Mansion House.

The waiter(seemed to be the manager) was not polite. Several times food was brought to our table that we had not ordered. It seemed to me rather like a fast food place. This is not a Japanese restaurant. I was deeply disappointed by the service and the quality of the food.

I went to two Wagamama’s for lunch during the two days I was in London. I don’t regret it. But admittedly, I still felt underwhelmed by the food. This time, I had a raw salad and the signature Wagamama Ramen. The salad was fine – I was just happy to have some greens instead of the heavy pies, sausages & gravies I had been eating the prior week in Northern England. The ramen itself was filled with lots of delicious things — pork, shrimp, chicken, mussels, a tea egg, chikuwa and wakame. I didn’t find the broth to be very flavorful — in fact, I had to add soy sauce to add salt as it just tasted bland without it. And well, this is not their fault, but this just reconfirmed that I really don’t like mussels. If you do like mussels, then you will be happy with the amount they add to the bowl, but if you don’t, it might just be best to ask them to not add them at all. Other than that, everything else was pretty enjoyable and despite being super crowded, my service was very attentive from start to finish.

Prices are reasonable. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is generally very good but not great… Several dishes were surprisingly not as flavorful as we’d get set similar restaurants back in the States.

I came here for a group dinner with a bunch of tourists and even despite that, the service wasn’t so bad. It was so long ago I don’t remember much, other than not being impressed. The food left a bad taste in my mouth, and although the décor and service were good, it couldn’t make up for the taste. I had edamame and some noodle vegetable dish that were not too great. Skip the Japanese and go out for Indian food if you need something along those lines of spice.

Headed to London, we wanted a few places to eat that would be easily accessible, good food, at a reasonable price. Super cool vibe, we actually ate at two different locations. Prices are not cheap but they are fair. Food is awesome. I had the chicken Itame, delicious. It was like green curry, phở, and ramen in one dish. Super hefty portion, and fantastic flavor. My wife and I actually joked that they need one of these in the States, and we wondered if they franchised, because we know it would be a hit. If you are in the London area, definitely hit one of these up as they are sprinkles throughout the city.

I doubt I can add much that’s new to the many, many Wagamama reviews already on here, so I’ll just echo the basics: it’s a large, spacious, minimally decorated room, service is friendly enough, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced by London standards. This location seems to get a lot of business lunch-hour traffic, but by 1:30 pm on a Tuesday, we could walk in and be seated right away. The large outside tables are family-style, so you might very well have to scoot up next to strangers and pass the soy sauce. I had the pork ramen bowl, which was a generous portion and had meltingly tender pork bits, although the best part of the dish was actually the crisp, fresh bamboo shoots — go figure. My boyfriend had the ginger chicken udon and thought it was good as well. Maybe it was being out in the patio area, but service seemed spotty and somewhat chaotic — we were served by a variety of different staff and were never really sure who our server was if we needed something. Getting the check was pretty slow, which was a bit surprising, since it sounds like they’re known for fast turnover. Overall, I was glad to have tried the much-hyped Wagamama experience and thought they delivered fresh and tasty food for a decent price.

Came here with my British colleagues who adore Wagamama. It was pretty good, but not my favorite. They really pack it with people, and there is basically no ambiance. I can tell their focus is more the food, so I was looking forward to that. There are surprisingly few veggie options for an asian noodle place. I got the yasai katsu curry, because it sounded different and interesting; it was decent but actually didn’t have as much flavor as I expected. I’ll probably go back and try a noodle dish to see if there are better results, but I don’t have high expectations at this point.

I think it was just ok since we weren’t expecting much to begin with since we knew it wasn’t Japanese and more of an «asian fusion» place. We got the veggie katsu curry… which was ok, and the ebi gyoza, which was ok too. If you go here, just don’t expect much. Oh, and the location on Unilocal map is wrong. It’s in the fancy building on the second floor.

The food is tasty and mouth-watering. This place is welcoming, but it is not good for first dates for example. The sushi is made on a professional way, I can not hide that I simply love the delicious sushi rolls and soy sauce. I appreciate the politeness of the staff. You’ll enjoy your meal and I’m sure of this.

Ok, I love Asian food, so the fact that I was in London wasn’t going to stop me from eating something other than«traditional English» food! This was walking distance from our hotel, quick and inexpensive! For $ 10 I had a great meal! Pretty large selection, fresh and nice presentation! ZERO décor!! I would compare this to a «pick up stix» in the U.S.

Sorry I had to say this but, I really don’t see the appeal of this franchise. I’ve had loads of Brits recommend that I try out Wagamama, and when I did, meh. You tried England, you really did. On my latest trip to my castle in Westminister, the group decided to have lunch at Wagamama. Basically an asian fusion restaurant. The inside was very modern and family friendly, so far so good. For starters we had chicken wings, which were tasty. For the main, I ordered the chili chicken ramen. And no. There wasn’t a hint of chili in my ramen, and the broth had no flavor. I’m not 100%, but I think I was angry that I was served that… The other dishes on the table just looked okay, not too much to say. Wished I could have experienced what most people have experienced, they seem to really love Wagamama. Or maybe I’m just too used to that California lovin’.

I’m not huge fan of Wagamama. I must be very hungry and desperate to eat there. Curry was aweful, if you know what Japanese curry is supposed to be, this was huge dissapointment(However, I did read somewhere that Wagamama is NOT authentic Japanese, but rather, fusion type, therefore maybe I shouldn’t complain too much) Price is nice, and location was good with outdoor seating.

Cleveres Konzept und schickes Marketing ohne den puristischen Charakter japanischen Essens zu zerstören. Faire Preise, netter Service, schöné Räumlichkeiten und sehr gutes Essen. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.
