My husband and I both tried Sean at this location. He was billed as a top stylist, but he is a fraud. He is a one trick pony and can only cut one style. It will take three months for us to recover from our haircuts. Sasoon is a thing of the past. It is so sad. As for the salon itself, crowded, noisy, much like a factory. There are so many other really classy hair salons in London.

I love love LOVE a couple of the girls who work here. They are super confident with what they are doing and usually i just let them do whatever they want to do; or give them a few parameters to work on(recently it was, must look good after bike helmet was on it). They understand that 90% of the people don’t want to spend an hour on their hair every day and asks the most pertinent of questions– ie. what are you going to do to it at home? I used to do shift work and once i fell asleep having my haircut after work. I was a bit embarassed but my hairdresser(not going to share her, she is soo busy already!!!) took it in her stride and just poked me to tell me not to nod off when she was doing my fringe. credit crunch or not, i will be continuing to pay the price of having a lovely haircut. P.S 4 stars only because the sink/chair combo they have to wash your hair is extremely uncomfortable.

I’ve had my hair cut here quiet a few times now; they certainly are happy for you to walk in with lots of hair because utlimately the hair-cutters(dressers) want it chopped off! So book an appointment and they will give you service that you can’t expect to get better. Polite and patient with understanding what you want, I find the men dressers very sharp to women getting their hair cut. I’m not being gender biased but perhaps they fear the scissors may turn to them. Well I’ve quiet a few drastic makeover hairstyles done here and enjoyed everyone of them. Price wise its hard to give an estimate because it depends on what you get done and whom you ask for, they have a seniority level going on within. Which means if you ask for someone senior you pay a bit more, a junior will be lesser in price for his not so developed skills. Its a lot of crap, just go with your instincts when your talking to your hairdresser because if you feel he/She can’t get your ideas then no point ruining your gorgeous hair and to pay for it. They’re savvy in their technlogy and stylish knowledge of cuts, the best I’ve seen so far in the business.
