Don’t be bitter, we get it… gentrification and whatnot but no one is suggesting you forego supermarkets and do your weekly shop here. It’s picturesque, it’s all responsibly sourced(or so they will claim) and it’s slate grey shop fronts everywhere. There’s even a posh fish ‘n’ chip shop, a fancy wine place and a Michelin bib restaurant. Did I mention the formidable Ginger Pig have their East End digs here too? Yes it’s expensive but it’s a treat to know that when you want to go somewhere nice, Vicky Park Village is right here in all its yuppie glory just waiting for you with open arms. Isn’t it nice to know you can stroll around the park and then come here for an affogato without being squeezed into a mush by the lot at Broadway Market?
