Nice atmosphere and very good pub food. They have live jazz on Sundays. We were looking down for a steak dinner and found this place. Unfortunately, when two of us ordered the steaks they were out. So we settled for burger & fish and chips and I couldn’t finish the burger it was so big. After our rounds of beers, as appetizers we ordered: Jacket potatoes. One with bacon and cheese and the other with pulled pork. Not what I had in mind(potatoes skins) but good anyway. It consists of a baked potato topped with different ingredients. The sauce is 1870 bbq Pulled pork taquitos-delicious. For our entrees: Big Ben burger TW Burger Chicken Burgers Fish & Chips Cheese cake & espresso It was our last night in London and a merry one.

It’s an old man’s pub. The beer selection is ok, didn’t try the food. As I was there right on the middle of the gay pride, the atmosphere was awesome but again, not due to the place. Worst bathrooms ever.

A pleasant pub in the heart of one of the cooler parts of Covent Garden(7 Dials). Good beer, nicely appointed, very friendly staff. I was a bit annoyed in the winter when the front door, which we were seated by, didn’t close automatically. It was broken so we spent many moment freezing. However, one of the staff did his best to close the door for us each time after someone came in. That endeared him to us, but what was more charming was when I ordered our last pint, and the woman behind the till(purportedly the proprietor) complained lightheartedly about how her husband still hasn’t gotten around to fixing the door, that lazy sod. She and I had a good laugh about that, and it made the whole situation more bearable.

Good local pub in the otherwise tourist-packed Covent Garden/Seven Dials area.

A great local pub in the centre of Covent Garden. It has a really great chilled yet also sophisticated atmosphere with an awesome collection of books on the wall. The menu has standard pub fare which is yummy, and their chips are absolutely delicious. It gets very busy as the week draws to a close, especially on Fridays and there aren’t a huge number of tables but it’s a great place to go for a quick lunch or drink with colleagues. Really good prices too for both food and drink!

In the heart of the Seven dials area an old fashioned style pub. Small in stature but what it lacks in size it makes up for in its uniqueness. Lots of interesting posters on the walls of this dark bar which promotes a moody chilled atmosphere. On the three occasions I’ve been to this pub it has never been packed, this is great news in an area that has lots of hustle and bustle. A great place for a rest bite after an afternoon of shopping in Convent Garden which is only a short walk away. Xoxo

Great food selection. Came with my kids, and it was one of the only places which had a kids menu. Food was tasty, beer was tasty, happy kids, happy parents! Great place to go before a show!

Surprisingly good pub for the area. The clientelle are mostly local residents or local workers which considering the location is great. Three beers on draught, the usual lagers, a lot of ‘proppa Lahndan booza’ atmosphere and all over a great place to have a swift half. Or gallon.

Came here with some friends for pre-dinner drinks. At 6:30, the pub was quite crowded, but it thinned out within an hour or so. They had a decent selection of beers(although I pretty much ignore everything that isn’t on draught as living in the UK for almost two years now has turned me into a draught beer snob). Hope and Glory was there(apparently for the Jubilee, but my local Fuller’s pub had it sometime last year), as well as Doombar(always a good choice), and something from Young’s. I mean it wasn’t anything special for a pub it seems. We didn’t eat here(as we went and had Mexican), but it seemed like standard pub fare. I don’t know though, it could be amazing tasting standard pub fare. The Americans in the group got a bit of a laugh from the soup of the day being Chicken Broth(which in the UK is like a thin version of stock). I’d go back if I were meeting people in the area, as the atmosphere seemed cool, and a lot of people watching to be had, but it pretty much seemed like your standard pub.

Cosy, welcoming and laid back. Can get busy because of its size but nice if you can get a seat.

Nice little pub in Theatreland, a fact they embrace in their décor. The walls adorned with show posters and head-shots of actors and actresses enclosing on this small one room pub. Two televisions hang from the walls showing news channels on my previous visits. I was delighted with the drinks choices at the bar; Hoegaarden, Doombar and Youngs’ Special as well as a couple of other ales and all the standard lagers and whatnots on tap. Of course they have a wine list and all the spirits one would expect to find in a pub. And a selection of Absolut flavoured vodkas. A vanilla vodka and coke was ordered with a top pint of Sharpes’ Doombar — at a reasonable price too. And a point of interest(?), this pub used to be called the Sheep’s Head, as the severed head of a sheep was put outside the pub everyday. Don’t know why. TTFN, Ian

50 beers, and 100 sandwiches and fish and chips. Great people but perfect for a cheap lunch or late night for dinner and to watch the boys playing on the pitch. Add ths to the lists for when your here too.

I’m not saying anything good about this pub because otherwise you’ll all turn up and spoil it! :)

A funny little pub, in a really stunning building, the Two Brewers feels like you’re stepping into that country pub scene from American Werewolf, not a drinking joint in the middle of the West End. It is dark and moody, but in a good way, the bar itself being back lit for ambiance. It also seems to be quieter than other pubs too, so might be a good bet if you aren’t keen on crowds. The food itself is just good, reliable pub fare such as fish and chips, and they are proud to offer real ales such as Adnam’s bitter, Pride and Doom Bar for under £3!

We had lunch here as we looking for something quiet and there was no one in when we went in. It was a lovely place to eat. For a pub it is quite small and intimate. Obviously I can’t comment on what it may be like in the evenings but it was just after 12pm when we went in and it did start to fill up while we were eating. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both had a burger and chips and we very pleased with the meal. Highly recommended.

The Two Brewers is a nice little pub just off Upper St Martins Lane. It has a homely feel to it. They have food during the day and a fun atmosphere in the evening. One thing I would say about this pub is keep hold of your bags as I have had over four friends bags go missing over the years. Other then this downfall it’s a nice little place. One good thing about this pub is that it is just round the corner from two theatres and often the actors have a quick drink in there after their shows.
