The most closest taste to my before experience with some Mexico friends in other country. Strongly recommend the corn chips with fresh chop tomato sauce, which is one of the must have Mexico food in any Mexico restaurant! You can partly know whether this Mexico restaurant is good or not from their own fresh sauce. People working there are more like Portuguese or Spanish, might because only very little Mexico people live in UK. And food itself is a little bit more sweet than it original taste in Mexico, but more fit for British local taste. A Mexican told me he always bought sauce from this shop. Would like to buy and try to make my own Mexico roll at home next time.

When I first came here I was not too impressed with the burrito since it was much smaller than the one you get at Chipotle and it just didn’t taste the same. My friend on the other hand was so in love with her burrito that we came back here another time and I must say I like it more and more each time! I do prefer the chicken here to the other options and the tomato rice has this amazingly special taste that makes this burrito original. I will be back and I do recommend to give it a try!

So I’m rating this place benchmarked against the two Burrito places I’ve been to prior, not exactly a pro. But the stuff I’m putting in my mouth is tasty, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is buzzing. Good enough for me!

This is really unappetising. I would eat it if there wasn’t anything else or I felt I had to because I paid for it, but it was barely passable. The staff was friendly at least and it’s close to Hammersmith tube station if you need a fix and you’re starving. I wouldn’t recommend it though.

In terms of reasonably priced burritos this place does the job. Queues form easily as service is not the fastest. I had carnitas which is essentially pulled pork — tasted nice and is filling but no wow factor. Saying that there is a decent amount of seating and is very close to hammersmith tube so an easy place to Jump into if you are very hungry.

I feel this review is long overdue. When I first moved to London, I walked past Tortilla everyday to and from Hammersmith Station. I frequented this place so often, that I was starting to get recognized by the staff. This is one of my favourite burritos in London. For a chain restaurant, it’s great. Pulled pork, Mexican rice, pinto beans, salsa, guac, sour cream and cheese… all wrapped up in a beautiful burrito. Heaven on Earth. The guacamole is a good quality guacamole, flavourful and reasonably priced. Unlike a certain rival’s guac. The staff at this location have always been very nice and helpful. I can count on one hand since leaving Hammersmith, the number of times I haven’t stopped in for a burrito at Tortilla. It’s always a really great eat and cheaper than Chipotle. The loyalty card program is an added bonus. After five stamps, you earn chips and salsa and after ten stamps you earn a free burrito. It’s a nice touch on top of an already great meal. In Hammersmith, it’s a lovely picnic to sit by the Thames and enjoy some burritos on a hot summer’s day. The location is great, right outside Hammersmith stations and a short walk from the Thames. In summary: I love Tortilla! :)

This Tortilla isn’t as good as the one close to Angel Tube Station but a good standby as there’s no other place around. They could do a better job wrapping the burritos and providing more salsa!

This branch of Tortilla is not very great, last time I ventured there, the rice was dry and hard and the chicken was tasting weird. I generally prefer Chipotle and Chilango over Tortilla but most Tortillas aren’t that bad. The only good things about Tortilla in general is that you have options of choosing a smaller or larger burrito and the price is slightly less than it’s competitors.

Delicious but during lunch time its soo busy and a few times they struggle to wrap up my tortilla! which i would imagine is the key part of their role! Yum food

Tasty Mexican, just across from the tube. This place is packed on weekday evenings when the office crowd fill it to the rafters, but it was very pleasant tonight. Staff were friendly and chatty without the usual monster queue, and I got a nice table and booth seat rather than perching on a stool. Free WiFi would be a nice addition…

Ouch. The burrito I had here was dry, relatively tasteless and lukewarm at best. I’ve had a soft spot for Tortilla ever since the excellent Elite event at Leadenhall Market, and some branches(e.g. Angel) have delivered. Unfortunately this one doesn’t. The service was good, but that didn’t make the food taste any nicer.

My least favourite restaurant in this chain. This place is always quiet, but it takes a while for the staff to serve you here. They are always glum and on my last visit they told me that I couldn’t have 2 stamps on my reward card, in fact the question was met with almost mild aggression. My boyfriend and I had brought large burrito’s, sides and drinks, but we had paid together. They got even more shirty when I enquired as to whether my boyfriend could have his own card. In other Tortilla restaurants they are usually more friendly and I have never had a response like this before to this type of query. As usual the food is the same quality as other Tortilla restaurants, but just don’t expect the same friendly personality at this one!

i had no idea tortilla had arrived in west london. I normally get mine when on a day our in city. So it was a lovely surprise to stop off here for lunch. The usual fair of buriitos. and the oh so hard choice of what beans black or white so being a typical cant make my mind up i have both yes they do allow you to do this. i have been tempted to try the steak but got got a very chewy one at another branch so it has put me off. all in all if you are looking for a cheap homely meal in a one hand roll well this is for you

If one wants fine dining, one will not go to Tortilla. This place is great for filling you up on something better(healthier depending on your choice) and softer than a gritty sarnie. Not to mention the added satisfaction of knowing you can eat your wrap safe without the obligatory veggie or meat disaster when THAT sandwich filling falls off the sandwich arghhhhhh. I had a burrito pork at Tortilla. It was lovely;moist and satisfying. Yes, the Eastern European ladies were a bit on the surly side(cheer up ladies! you have jobs in a recession) but for a quick bite all I am after is clean, fast, reasonably fresh and healthy. All four expectations were met here…

Call me a racist but the Eastern European girls just don’t know how to roll a burrito. They look like they’re wrapping a nappy as a Christmas presents. By 8 pm all you get is dried-out lime rice and crappy grated cheddar. Two stars is generous.

It is nice to have a Mexican option this side of the city that doesn’t involve fusion cuisine or mythical heros(I’m looking at you, Robin Hood Zorro…) On par with the other locations I have been to in London. Not outstanding but sure does fit the bill when a burrito craving strikes! The fact that it is 10 minutes from my house will not help my waistline.
