Eyebrow service is horrible. No skin protection applied. Left with predominate wide dye marks over and above eyebrows. Sloppy. No attention to detail. Eyebrows cut at different angles. Eyebrows now different thicknesses and two different heights. Attendant argued even after I had to pull out a card and show the angles. Absolutely unacceptable.

It’s got to be hard to screw up a fringe trim right? You would be wrong. Unless you want to look like a 12 yr old girl with crooked unmanageable fringe, avoid this place.

you are always dealt with very professionally here — always offered a drink and offered magazines to read. the hairdressers are very good at their job and take their work very seriously. i generally pay £45 for just a wash and blow dry which i may be pricey compared to outer suburb independent salon prices, but their work is good and you are paying for the convenience of location too. they listen to what you want and do their best to meet your requirements. my favourite stylists are Fabrizia and Luke. Luke would sit in a crowded part of london and watch the people walk by for the sole purposeof observing their hairstyles and learn new styles and get inspiration… its nice to have your hair done by someone who is passionate about hair styling! so A++ to that.

***Warning — this review contains rantage and mass generalisations. Cover your eyes if you are easily offended. I recently decided to dye my hair a fabulous shade of red but it had other ideas and came out burgundy/purple. F**k! Actually it looked a bit fab and funky, but with my brother’s wedding coming up, having luminous hair in the pictures would just not do. So I entrusted the recolouring to the ‘professionals’ at Toni and Guy. For £73 for a colour only(no cut) you would imagine they’d do a damn good job. Umm no. Hairdressers are hardly the sharpest tools in the shed at the best of times, I mean that’s why they aren’t rocket scientists, right?! But my colourist was an imbecile. During the application of the dye, she kept swinging bits of my hair into my face. My eye at one point. Lovely. Despite this, when she came to remove the excess dye at the side of my FACE, she just swiped at it ineffectually. I had to take it off her and do it myself, but she took it back. So I had to wipe dye off my face with my fingers. So so awesome. Anyway, the hair colour is pretty much exactly the same, maybe a tone lighter. Money well spent then.
