Friendly atmosphere…
Visited for dinner with a girlfriend. As it is a popular establishment I suggest you reserve ahead. Our ‘reserved’ was perfectly positioned.
The staff was friendly bit don’t think they could cope with the amount of diners as we felt neglected quickly.
The menu is basic with a good choice of fish dishes. When the food arrived it was tasty but again the service was slow…
Overall we had a good evening but I would think twice visiting in future as service is always king!

Top place!
We went on a Thursday evening after making a booking for a meal, we arrived early for a quick drink which we found really relaxing to start the evening off.
Then the meal… Amazing. Great service, amazing food and great atmosphere to boot.
We’ll be back!

We loved this place! The ambience was great and the service was fast. Our food was delicious and the Tuesday night special (special entrée with a half pint for 10 pounds) was a good value. Would highly recommend! Best meal in Britain so far.

Absolutely amazing food here. The flavours are like an explosion in my mouth. My first time after driving past so many times. Loved the name as I love to «whippet in» all the time. It’s actually a breed of dog but the food here is anything but dog food. Well worth the cost!
