This place is just awesome. I visited there while traveling London(I’m from Orlando, Florida). The people were welcoming and very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Fun pub in Fulham where I enjoyed some pints of cider and some table tennis with my friends. We got absolutely hysterical knocking the ball around while tipsy — highly recommended as a drunk activity. There’s a sofa in that area so if you need a break you can kick back and watch your friends play. Lively atmosphere and a pleasant, cosy place to spend the evening. Next time I’l try the food!

I was impressed by the Hurlingham, enough to sway my anointment of The Cat’s Back as my favourite local pub. The defining feature of the Hurlingham is its spacious interior that reaches around the bar in the centre. This sprawl makes it possible to enjoy different experiences in different parts of the pub: a relaxing pint on the battered leather chairs by the toilets; exuberant catch-ups with friends a little further along on the sofas facing each other; live music in the opposing corner, where various chairs and sofas are gathered round. The Hurlingham also hosts comedy acts, a pub quiz and occasionally themed fancy dress nights. The interior is battered english country home. The ceilings are high, the floors wooden and the seating tatty leather chairs & large sofas. The beer is a pleasing mix of usual lagers and some decent guest ales(Old Hooky from the Hook Norton brewery when I was there). The crowd are the kind of young professionals you would expect to be out and about in Fulham. The food was reasonable, but nothing special. The service was quick and friendly. I’ll be back.

It’s always a good week down Wandsworth Bridge Road, or, to be more specific down at the The Hurlingham Pub; Monday night, trivial pursuits, Tuesday night, £5 burgers, Wednesday and Thursday any special they may have on offer from their delicious menu of home made food, Friday night, Live music and free champagne cocktails for the ladies, and just because too, not even a catch! Saturday, well it’s Saturday! And then Sunday ends the week with the grand finale of the traditional Sunday roast. Tis not bad at all really. The Hurlingham is also available for private hire and with a beer garden, the comfortable décor, the welcoming staff and an extensive range of wines on offer you would be in for a good night out. A definite recommendation of mine.

This pub has changed! Oh wow! I just love the décor and the finishing touches are so original it’s inspiring. The new owner is actually a Londoner who has no intention of creating a sports pub but wants to accommodate all wallets and wants. There are 3 plasma screens but only all on for big games(England rugby we hope) and the food is great honest English Pub fair! If you in for the cricket then have a seat at the bar but in for supper then relax in the great restaurant area for one of the daily specials. I just can’t say enough about this place, its soo perfect. This is my new local even though I have to walk past the Ship and Sands End to get there!

Random art on the walls and stacked bookshelves give you a warm feeling and it is a bit like being in your lounge at home. A recently added garden at the rear that is just about heated enough — it was cold when I visited allows for a ciggy when required and as the place is friendly you will invariably start up a conversation with someone out there which again reflects on what they are trying to do here in creating a friendly place to meet and chat. Food wise standard gastro — so don’t expect too much — it is more of a local than a place to go for a special meal… coupled with a good selection of beers and free champagne for the ladies on a Friday. On my visit they have a musician strumming away which made for a change from the normal loud d.j.‘s you would normally expect in a gastro.
