The warning signs were there, I chose to ignore them. At the time of this writing this place has an average review of 2.5 stars on Unilocal, that’s probably what it deserves. Placed a fairly large order and was told food would be ready in 10 mins(warning sign), food was cold when we got it home(we are staying a stones throw away), some of the order was wrong(chicken instead of beef). All of the above could have been forgiven or forgotten had the food been good, it wasn’t. Singapore noddles had no flavor, same with threat Singapore chow mein. The duck was extremely Dru and the beef(chicken) curry as well as the hong kong style sweet and sour was very watery. Lastly the prawn crackers were chewy and stale. Your money is better spend elsewhere.

My brother and I ordered BBQ Ribs, Rice, Kung Po Chicken and Special Chow Mein for delivery on 12/10/2009. The order was taken quickly and clearly. It was delivered within twenty minutes and was piping hot(although we do live two roads away, lazy I know!). I found the ribs to be very fatty with little meat on it and an overly sweet barbecue sauce. The Kung Po Chicken wasn’t particularly spicy and the noodles were rather bland. The rice was… rice! Overall not a brilliant experience which is a shame as this used to be a very good takeaway.

This is the local Chinese takeaway in Raynes Park. Its only takeaway with no eating in. It has a very basic look about the place and looks like all the usual takeaways you see. However having gotten food from here a number of times its always excellent. The people who run it are very welcoming and humble. Always eager to serve and help you understand the various dishes. Its very good value for money and the portion size if very generous. if your after a quick dinner and don’t want the cheap chicken from the corner shop this is the best option. I would recommend for that easy Monday/Tuesday night dinner.
