Don’t mistake this place for anything but an ordinary pub despite the glossy menu with the odd French word thrown in. I went there for lunch with a friend. The service was very slow we waited well over an hour to be served convenience food. The standard of the food bears absolutely no relation with prices. What we had was extremely poor value reluctantly and slowly served.

This pub is neither good nor bad, its reasonably priced for both drink an grub. its got a fair few tele’s for the footy etc. pool table an quiz machine. its a pub you meet for a few an move on. I will say the staff are always pretty good an they are friendly, which is a shock in these parts worth visiting if your passing.

Bexley Village used to be the place to go on a Friday or Saturday night, before hitting the clubs. The George is a great pub either foe meeting before going on elsewhere or for just spending the night with a group of friends. I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic night out as it is mainly a pub where groups of friends go. the bar service is excellent and speedy and the staffare constantly going around the pub clearing empty glasses. Most ofthe people in here are 25+ so not too many youngsters. Music is not so loud that you cannot carry out a conversation. There is a pool table.
