Beer garden only accessible through the gents. Cheap booze and quite a lot of sport, although mostly I think just for the show of it. They do not have a dress code, but that is probably for the best. Most likely not the last ungentrified pub in London, but still rare enough. Much like.

Run by this rounder old irish women sitting on her throne like chair eyeing anyone who walked through the door.
We were actually greeted first by the two fattest jack russell terriers I had ever seen. Like Wishbone’s fat, unsuccessful cousins run the door at a pub now. Probably doesn’t help to have the regular patrons feeding you huge dried sausages out of her purse, you know, in a little baggy next to her impulse body spray (other story, ask me later ugh)
The point is, the place seems intimidating at first but if you need a good view of the match (big ol tele) and you live in the area, this is a nice, clean (ish), booze filled establishment to watch it at. I actively watched my first football match here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere and other football enthusiasts surrounding us added to the experience. Like a mini stadium experience.
