Encouraging vintage appearance of an old boozer. Manages to seem both cosy and spacious at the same time. Young, discerning crowd drinking a selection of craft beers. I had the stout — forget the name — which was chilled and delicious. Price point is relatively expensive — £7.20 for a pint and a half. Still, the lovely ambience more than makes up for this. We didn’t eat but the menu had some excellent fodder on offer. If I return, I’ll be ordering dessert!

Stopped by the Distillers last week whilst in London to catch a Dave Chapelle show. I’m so glad we went! Lovely spacious pub with a great selection of craft beers. The outdoor area was really nice, and I can imagine it would be heaving on a hot summers day. There have little shed like buildings with heaters inside which you can sit in, which I thought were fantastic! If’ I’m ever in Hammersmith for a gig again I will definitely stop by.

A really nice venue very close to Hammersmith and on the way to the Thames. It has a lot of lovely seating areas outside including beach huts, all with fairy lights and an open fire. However we were asked to move inside around 11 which was a shame as there was limited seating. The drinks were also relatively expensive but I suppose that is to be expected. A good spot for after-work drinks though.

Pleasant pub a stone’s throw from Hammersmith tube — big and spacious with a decent enough garden for the warmer months and a tasty selection of beers on tap for, well, any month. Attracts the young professional crowd — and so the atmosphere is mostly relaxed and chatty, but occasional rah-braying can be found here. But not often enough to put you off. Like this place.

45+ min wait until for a cheese board and chips. 10 min wait to pay the bill despite having cash ready when handed it over. Constantly saw my waiter chatting on him mobile or with staff. Never again.

I’m a big fan of the Distillers for two reasons: it’s located about a 30 second walk from my flat and is a perfect place for a bottle of wine come rain or shine! We moved into our flat in July and after lugging heavy boxes up and down the stairs on the hottest day of the year, an ice cold pint of cider was the only thing we had in mind. So we tottled down to the beer garden outside the Distillers. Now in December, after a hard day of work. I tottle down the road for a glass of red in the warm cosy atmosphere of the main bar. And if that’s not enough for you, it’s a great meeting point for pre-Hammersmith Apollo shows, and with live music in the upstairs bar there’s a lot going for this plush pub. It looses a point for pricey drinks and arsey staff — but when everything else is as relaxing and lovely as the Distillers, it’s 4 stars are well deserved!

This is a great pub that does very good food with a lively atmosphere. It was redecorated a year or so ago and it’s a great place to spend a few hours drinking. If you fancy food they do anything from fish and chips to burgers, squid, pies or salads, most of which is generous in the portions and tastes really good. In the summer they have a really good garden that catches the sun and they even come and serve you while you’re sitting outside! The area itself isn’t particularly great, so it’s good to know there’s somewhere decent to go and drink or have some good food.

A pub and a comedy/music venue in one, This nice pub on the Fulham Palace road is an ideal hangout for an after work drink, a drink before if you have tickets for the Apollo, a stop off at the weekend or for a night out having a giggle at the comedy night or to listen to the live music that they put on. Upstairs in where the comedy and music is played — This is a funky space with dark wood panelling, oldie worldy flock wallpaper and is comfortable for sitting down and enjoying the acts on that night. I think that the pub puts real effort into this part of the pub and some sort of entertainment is on most nights. Downstairs it has the same quality feel to it with ample sofa’s chairs and stools to enjoy a pint or drink and also to get fed if required. There is a good space outside with a pebbled garden which is used in the summer for bbq’s. My visit was early evening on a Friday night and appeared popular with the local workers — Doctors from Charing Cross hospital and media types from the business unit across the road. Not a bad little pub that gets busy and has a nice feel about it. Website is not good, so call the pub direct for details of what is on and when

A contemporary pub with good selection of Fullers ales. All of them were not available. Service could be better

A light & airy renovation — this pub manages to retain some of its old charm, but updated with some contemporary touches. So what you get is a clean, modern feel but at the same time you know you’re in a pub with a past. Its a pub/restaurant(dare I say gastropub) so you can eat at any of the tables. Good varied menu, with seafood, salads, pies & fish/chips. I had whitebait with rocket salad and my friend had chicken caesar salad. Both were more than respectable. Not too bad on price either. Fuller’s beers behind the bar. Staff & Service OK.
