I went with a voucher. Serving staff was unsure of what was included. I tried to book a table for the terrace, but got told to turn up on the day. However, we got seated inside. We had 6 tapas in total, they were very average. When we left, we didn’t get a thank you from any serving staff.

I found the Cuban Bar on the Gourmet Society Card website and booked a table for my friends birthday. I specifically mentioned I had the card over the telephone at the time of booking but once I arrived and was seated they told me the management wouldn’t accept the card. I did not stay to find out whether the food was nice or not but after reading other reviews I’m glad I didn’t!

My review is regarding the old cuban club pre 2012 atmosphere which was energetic and vibrant full of life. Me and my friend would love doing lunch and indulging in spanish/mexican cuisine the staff were friendly and the music was on point.

i like Cuban, I like bars, and I like Moorgate but for some reason I just can’t bring myself to like this too much. Maybe it’s because it seems so dark and impersonal. I can’t quite put my finger on it but I’ll work it out sooner of later.

I have to say this review is for the Salsa, not for the food, but I’ll be back in a week to sample that too. I love dancing, and I haven’t been in awhile. I also haven’t really ever learned to salsa properly. Good thing there are lessons! A 1.5 hour lesson for 8pounds. Very reasonable, and the lesson was quite good. Tailored to teach someone how to dance in a club. Of course, I know of a total of 0 salsa clubs in London, so I am not sure why I am so stoked on this. I guess I have some research to do… Good thing I have Unilocal! Regardless, dancing is a real way to relax, and they teach all levels. So go Salsa! Shake that tushie!

Well, the Cuban is down in the city, right near City Road and a bunch of bank offices. If you want a decent cocktail and some salsa lessons on Wednesdays and a good place for work drinks I would say the Cuban ticks those boxes. Good vibe, not great. I’m underselling because this place doesn’t blow me away and I want to moderate ratings, but a good location near businesses means its well placed for a casual few and a nibble

I like the Cuban. The food is very nice and theres a lot of different choice(The Burgers are huge!). If you like Cocktails then there is a crazy selection(but they still have beer on tap so they save themselves a star there!) although they can take some time to arrive. Downstairs is a large restaurant area and upstairs its a bit smaller, with some screens for the sport.

After coming back from New York and having a great Cuban meal over there, I thought to go to a Cuban in London, as I had never been to one in my home city before. If it lived up to the one in New York I would have been happy. I booked a table for a few of us to dine in the Cuban, and as I am not too affiliated with Cuban cuisine, I thought to try the signature dish, but sadly it was not available. How could a signature dish not be available? Did they run out of chicken? So instead, I had a steak costing £20, it was a nice steak but I just think that we caught them on a wrong night. Either way, it is really nice inside, and had some nice cocktails.
