The Carphone Warehouse

I am forever gutted by the way the sales assistant cheated me in this particular shop. It happened when I bought my phone and contract and the greedy sales assistant couldn’t resist the opportunity increase his pay roll.
During the process he asked if I wanted an insurance for my phone with £50/​month deal. I said no. While I was signing all the documents, I had already put my first name on one particular paper when I noticed that it was for the insurance. I stopped, and repeated my request, and asked him to through the paper away. My big mistake was that I trusted him, instead of just tearing the paper!
As about one month later a spotted from my bank statement that £50 and been charged from my account. I called the company and the emailed me, the very same document, scanned, showing just my front name signed. They said that is perfectly equivalent for a signed document.
Oh I am absolutely never going to use this company again. This trick was so obvious and must happen easily to anyone that just signs all the papers they pile up front of you, and that behaviour just sucks.

The salesmanship I’ve seen here is of tremendous energy. From great deals to annual phone usage and information where customers can benefit is ‘the’ Strategy of this business. Driven and motivated there has never been a dull moment each time I’ve stepped in. I think this is one good business set up that I see changing with technology and one that will last for a while.
Carphone warehouse help customers in purchasing phones along with talk time, monthly rentals, one off purchases, laptops, internet software, bt phone connections etc etc. Anything to do with telephonic communications; they are the boss.
