A little gem of a place. One that demonstrates the benefits of fresh herbs and straight off the wok cooking. Meat was well cooked and vegetables retained their proper taste without being drowned out by their sauces. We went on a very quiet night so service was good. Wine was reasonably priced but not of the highest quality. To be honest you’re there for the food. There aren’t too many covers so it would probably be worth booking on a weekend. It’s been a while so really glad to rediscover this place.

Thai Villa is a lovely little local-type place. It appears to be family-run, and has all of the things you’d expect from a Thai restaurant like this. It’s teeny tiny inside, and often busy, so if you’re coming on a Friday or Saturday night, it’s best to call ahead. The staff though are very nice and will do all they can to accommodate you. I’ve also found it’s quite busy at Christmas with the local businesses having their Christmas ‘do’ here. I normally find myself there after work, having come out of the back entrance to Pinner Station. They open around 6ish — I have tried a few times at 615pm and found the door still locked, the workers clustered around a table eating their dinner(always a good sign!). I was let in with a smile and an apology and a frantic clearing of the table. I am a creature of habit, and we normally get a mixed starter to share — all very tasty, and I’m especially partial to the sweetcorn cake. Then I get a massaman or a penang curry, and my husband generally ends up getting whichever I don’t get. And coconut rice, of course! All of that comes to around £20, which isn’t too bad, especially considering there just aren’t many choices for Thai in this area that I know of! If they delivered, they’d get the 5th star. And I’d be poorer.

Thai Villa is a small restaurant, on Marsh Road, Pinner. Tucked between a large restaurant, and a conveinence store, this little place is absolute foodie heaven! Neatly arranged, with simple but effective decoration and lighting, Thai Villa is perfect for a romantic night for 2, or for a huge celebration group. Walk in to be seated, if up to 4, or phone ahead to reserve a table, the friendly staff will sort things out. Birthday? Let them know, and you get free desserts and other offerings made, to complete your night. A nice array of food for vegetarians, and meat lovers alike, Thai Villa cater for all taste buds, from spice fearers, to those who enjoy a good kick of heat in their meals. The food is priced superbly, and bills for 6 are around £100, for 3 courses each and drinks too. They offer a takeaway service as well, which you collect, being teased all the way home with the aromas of fresh, tantilising food.
