Very small Tesco that gets terribly busy on weekends(people buying drinks before heading to Brick Lane or Spitalfields market). There’s a bigger Tesco just 5 min walking from this one(in front of Liverpool street station so Id just go here if I really need something and the other one is closed(this opens until 11pm)

The best part about this Tesco Express is watching the painfully cool, skinny-jeaned, ratted-hair, sunglasses-inside hipsters awkwardly staring at tins of hot dogs trying to decide what to have for dinner. One warning – every time I go they’ve run out of at least 30% of their products. Why it is that they can’t manage to keep canned tomatoes in stock, I don’t care to try and understand, but it does make my meals more spontaneous. Produce selection: pretty decent for a place this size, meats: meh, cheeses: okay, wines: great selection of £5 bottles of swill, and there are lots and lots of sweets, convenience foods and trans-fats. Good place to go if you need a Cadbury Egg before your coachmen turn into mice. Yes, they close at midnight which is infinitely irritating.

Like all other Tesco supermarkets in London and in Britain, poor quality and a zealous domination of our high streets…

Everything you need is all in one place therefore it means you don’t have to waste time going here and there for minimum essentials. Not only does this tesco do the basics which means food of all kinds and varietys(including indian rices and food sold in just indian shops!) but only homeware, kitchen accessories, dvds and also clothes! I don’t think anyone can do wrong here! No heart attacks at checkouts either so its friendly on the pocket too!
