My first time at this location, but I visit Ted’s every time I’m in London for business. This trip however was probably one of the best haircut’s I’ve ever had. Really enjoy every experience here and this one was definitely no exception.

Wow!!! After spending nearly 15 years going to a standard barbers for a cheap haircut, this was my first experience going to a gentlemen’s salon such as Ted’s and it blew me away. Normally, I’m quite frugal with haircuts but after recommendations, I decided to spend and learned that you’re not just paying for the haircut but also the experience and atmosphere as well. Complimentary drinks offered to you aswell! 100% would come again, IMHO reasonable prices for the services they offer! Left there with a large grin on my face!

So dissappointed by my experience at Ted Baker Grooming Fitzrovia Following a friend’s recommendation, I visited the Fitzrovia branch at 9am on 1st Feb where I wanted to try the ‘Stubble Trouble’ package: ”where they should trim and style your beard, cleaning up any unwanted areas. Your neck and cheeks are razored, ears flamed with threading, as required — and all rounded off with an invigorating hot towel and massage.” This was meant to be a 30⁄45 minute treatment. At 9:05 the barber asked me what I wanted, had no idea what I meant when I mentioned ‘Stubble Trouble’, there was no razor, no hot towel and no massage. The treatment was finished by 9:15am!!! In retrospect I should have complained but was in utter disbelief that there was such inconsistency from website to in the salon experience and service!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Obviously, I am not a gent myself, but I treated my fellow to a little morning of pampering after a stressful week. This branch of Ted’s Grooming Room is one of six around central London, and only the Holborn branch takes reservations. The rest, like this one on Charlotte Street, are walk-in only, so you might want to prepare yourself for a slight wait. We were lucky though, and only had to wait for about 10 minutes. Okay, now for the experience: You walk-in, the atmosphere is lovely. Inspired by old-fashioned Turkish barbershops, this place won my boyfriend over. He hates the snobby, overly stylish trying-too-hard nature of many snazzy hair salons which are primarily aimed at the ladies. You’re greeted right away with a someone whisking away your coat, and offering you a wonderful Turkish coffee and a sweet. We took a browse through the pamphlet and he decided on «The Full Ted» experience — which was a reasonable £42 for a full on grooming session including a straight razor shave, beard trimming, hair cut, facial, hand massage and even ear flaming. His barber was lovely — professional and quiet, just how my chap likes it.(Unlike me, he hates making small talk). I slipped out just after my BF got started, and when he met up with me about an hour later, he was grinning from ear-to-ear…he looked and felt like a million bucks. Such a reasonable price for a fantastic little grooming session. Ladies and gents… I’d definitely suggest you treat your favourite chap to a trip here.
