The best of the curry houses we have tried in the area. Have been going there for the 10 years I have been with my other half and the food is always lovely. Their buffet is great value with a wide choice of dishes to suit all. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to help. Would highly recommend a visit

Surma won’t win any awards for innovative cuisine, though they did win the East Dulwich Forum best curry house award in 2007… ;-) It’s a fairly standard curry house. Nothing exceptional on the menu, good solid standard dishes prepared freshly and well. If anything they’re light on the spicing, slightly too heavy on the oil on occasion. It’s a go to after a few beers joint, and they do an excellent Sunday buffet. All you can eat for £6.95. It’s not fine dining, but it fills a hole.
