This is my third and final outburst of rage directed at Superdrug for the day. Earlier it was at the staff, then in the online survey, and now to the Unilocal audience. Basically every time I go to Superdrug they do not have my prescription ready because there has been some sort of misunderstanding(and how this even happens is beyond me! everytime they see me I ask for the same perscription!), or they aren’t allowed to distribute it because the pharmacist isn’t there. This has happened repeatedly and it is very inconvenient because I work in a care home and we need to know the medication will be there when they say it is. If it were just for lil old me, I suppose I could suffer while they get their act together, but to make those I care for wait is not cool. Front line staff needs to be empowered to dispense medication, or more pharmacists need to be hired, plain and simple. If my care home had not designated Superdrug as our provider of medication, I would have gone elsewhere a long time ago! I hate having to do business here.

Superdrug in West Norwood plays a huge role to the community by bringing afforable medicine and toiletries. I sometimes walk down each aisle to see what is new and the shelves are always fully stocked. They’ve got a pharmacy way at the back and perfume behind the tills like all the other branches. This particular superdrug ain’t as big as others but it serves it purpose well. Forget about finding good bargains in their sales as advertised in the media was they normally ship their excess stock to bigger branches. Considering that there is not a Boots around for miles, it’s a pretty good substitute. Oh, PS, I like the fact that they sell top-up and stamps as you’re paying, nice and convenient.
