Incredibly average gym with attitude, out of date equipment, and a failure to understand local clientele. Their equipment is old and devoid of heart monitors. This gym sits in Belsize Park but is controlled from their head office with little regard to the locals of this area. They don’t offer guest passes if you would like to bring a friend a long that lives locally and wants to try the gym. They charge a whopping 15 pounds for this privilege and argue with you if you dare ask them. It’s expensive and you don’t get the care and attention you deserve for the hefty price tag. When they have an open day– they insist you book your guest 24 hours in advance. It would be better to call this a trial weekend– booking only. They don’t offer enough classes either at night– they need to re-​vamp their class schedule to make for consistent weekly yoga and spin. During the summer months they cancel & reduce most of their classes as they feel this is «down time». Great– then why not reduce the summer prices to compensate for your reduction in classes? It’s not fair to pay 95 pounds for less than what you normally receive.
Very disappointed at the lack of service I have received from this gym. I have no doubt that this failure to understand customer service is from their head office. There are many other gym’s in the area. I would like to add that I think it’s truly shocking that for 95 pounds a month that they don’t provide shampoo in the shower cubicles. The most you get is shower gel– also be prepared to carry any towels you use from them back down to the bottom floor as they don’t provide a towel basket in the changing rooms. They prefer that you have to walk down stairs carrying wet towels so they can save time collecting them on their own time. Terrible in every sense. No customer service & management is vile towards customers. This is one of the most shocking businesses I have ever supported. Needless to say– I have cancelled my membership.
