REALLY hidden place in a hotel. I used google map and relocated it several times. I pretty sure the position and then went towards to hotel building, finally found it. Typical Italian restaurant. Pasta, noodles, etc. I ordered coconut, waitress opened coca-cola.Anyway, the chips tastes good, chicken a little bit common. Nothing special.Price is nice and worth a try for Italian maybe.

Reasonable prices, great food and very nice people. Its in an office building so a bit difficult to spot if you don’t know where you are going. How can a 5 ounce sparrow possibly carry a one pound coconut? Word…

My bf and I stumbled upon this restaurant while staying at a hotel nearby and we are so happy we decided to eat here! We both ordered pizza and we got our meals quite fast. The pizzas are large and DELICIOUS. I can’t remember the last time I tried such a good, authentic Italian pizza. The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful — very Italian, and the staff were extremely friendly. We laughed quite a bit. Also super good value in London! Will definitely be returning before our holiday ends… Also important to note — the restaurant is a bit hard to find — downstairs in the main building that also holds other businesses. Worth finding though!

Working in Vauxhall, you’ll find that there’s not a whole lot of decent quick lunch options in the area. There are pubs, but when you want something different, you come to Sirenas. Sirenas serves up classic Italian dishes at reasonable price. From the moment you get in, you’ll feel as if you were transported to Italy. Ok, maybe not, but for the duration of your visit there, you’ll forget where you really are, if you just ignore the number of suit-wearing types, and the queue for a sandwich by the door. It does get quite busy, so be sure to book ahead if you’re planning a lunch around 1pm, even if you just call to book on the day. The atmosphere is warm, they have daily specials and to showcase their specials, they bring the dishes to you to show you what they look like. I have on several occasions asked for extra meat on my dishes(they’ve started to tell me to stop being so Italian). Their specials tend to be about the same of all the times I’ve visited(about five times). The trip to and in the loo is a bit cold and eerie, but besides that, if you work in the Vauxhall area, this is the place to be for lunch! Oh, also ask for the«special» cappuccino! *wink wink*

Went here on the advice of others on here. What a wonderful place. Had the lasagna which was one of the best I’ve ever had. Located in the historic building where Royal Doulton was made. Has a club like feel and the food was amazing. And a good price! Don’t miss it

Tucked away, this is a great little Italian place. Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to have found it and it can get busy. No pre-booking so get your butt down here early during the lunch hour. Excellent service, they can normally get you into a table quickly and tucked away in some cellar corner somewhere faster than you would think. Wide range of dishes. I love the pizzas and the carbonara was also excellent. If you go once, you will be back.

Wow, what an awesome lunchtime secret. Great food, entertainingly stereotypical Italian staff — feels like you walked into a basement in old Siena. Definitely will go back!

Hey mambo, mambo Italiano! I worked just over the river from this restaurant for 3 years before a colleague discovered it and took me there. It’s one of those places you want to keep a secret but just HAVE to tell people about. I thought she’d lost the plot when we walked into what looked like an office block, but after taking the stairs to the basement on the left we were suddenly in a loud, busting, scrumdiddlyumptious Italian ristorante. I LOVE the staff here, they’re oh-so-Italian — loud, fun and playful — especially the gentleman who I assume to be the manager, he’s a fabulous flirt with the ladies and certainly brightened up my lunch! The food is great, although one time I went and they actually brought out examples of the specials all plated up(not hot, they’d been using them all day I assume as ‘show plates’)…not a good look. But trust me, the real thing was delicious. There is a little ‘deli’ as you walk in if you want to grab a quick ciabatta to take away, lots of choice here and you can pick-and-mix what you fancy. Quick, tasty and a nice change from Pret! I would recommend this if you have time for a sit-down lunch. The prices are VERY reasonable for London, the food is great and the flamboyant waiters make it a fab lunching experience so you go back to work smiling.
