Handy shop for household goods and bits and bobs for DIY but boy do the charge the RRP plus some and the staff aren’t particularly welcoming or helpful. Could be so much more…

The likes: many-​a bayonet light bulb in interesting shapes to be found, scads of Ecover cleaning products buffing out the shelves, Britta filter replacements, Bialetti ‘spare parts’, utility/​household/​black-​out candles in bulk, industrial strength HG products to clean every bit of your house, and large, household appliances, if you need ‘em.
Their awning reads something like: DIY and Electronics. I wouldn’t say that cleaning one’s house amounts to ‘DIY’, and, given that there’s nothing in store that would aid you in building your own lamp, I’d say the ‘DIY’ bit is a stretch. Oh, yeah, I think that they carry paint. Where I come from that sort of activity isn’t labeled ‘DIY’ it’s called ‘painting your house’.
