Satya Jewelry

I discovered this place on the Yoga Show last Autumn and since then it has become the only place where I buy my jewelry.
It is an American brand and this store is their only outlet in the UK. It has 5 other stores in New York.
Let’s start by saying that I’m not into jewelry in general, but what is sold in this store is very different. Blending spiritual symbols, healing gemstones and sacred meanings, their pieces are beautiful and delicate, with subtle colours.
They organise events where you can get some pieces with a 30% off discount. If you sign up to their newsletters, then you will find out when these happen. And trust me, with their prices you will need this discount ;)
The shop is always empty, and you feel kind of observed when you go in. It is quite uncomfortable. So I prefer to look at their pieces more online, although I really need to see them live to fully appreciate them.
One thing I truly truly dislike is the fact that they don’t offer refunds on their purchases, only exchange or store credit.
I have it as a principle not to buy in shops with this policy. On this occassion, I don’t know of any other place that sells something similar, so it makes it very difficult for me to stand by my principles ;)
Exactly for this reason I never buy presents from this place, as the people that would be receiving these presents wouldn’t be able to get a refund and get something else in another place. So this definitely stops me from spreading the Satya love.
