Rufies is a great idea and unique to Clapham — fast food curry and indian food? Brilliant! It’s even open late night for the post beers schnuffle. There’s no way I’d choose Rufies over the varied and excellent delivery options in the Clapham/Battersea area — it doesn’t come close to their quality. And of course there are better places to go and eat in, and for not much more money. However, for a cheeky little somasa or onion bahji snack on the go it’s great! And yes, I have been known to occasionally shun the usual late night food haunts and trek up to Rufies for that late night korma fix.

The first time I saw Rufies I couldn’t help but laugh at the name. But it doesn’t sale date rape drugs, it does sell delicious samosas! Rufies is a great place to pop into when you are walking home or after a late night for something greasy, crunchy and good. They serve other things, but I have only eaten beef samosas, which are very tasty. The shop isn’t much, it’s a borderline hole in the wall, but the staff is nice and it’s always nice to go in and get something that I can either heat up and eat at home or have them heat up and eat on the spot. It’s a great place to pop in for a quick bite.

I love this place! Really, really cheap takeaway curry — the sag aloo is great. Maybe not the best curry you’ll ever have but ridiculously cheap and quick. The staff are very friendly.
