This is one of the best fish and chips shops anywhere in London. Soggy fish, someone wrote? I have never had crisper fish and the chips are good too.
No matter where I am in London, if I fancy fish and chips, I make my way to Royal. It is minutes away from the Notting Hill Gate Tube Station, and 94 and 390 buses have a stop a few steps from the shop.
Try it yourself. You will be glad you did.

Found it to be overpriced. Cod was soggy and not at all crisp. Would not return. Where have all the good chippys gone?
