Stopped in about 7:30 for a family dinner. Had reservations, near empty so it wasn’t needed on a tuesday. Oddest music playing, Casio hits of sci fi. Great view. good was ok, once it arrived. It took over an hour for our main courses to arrive, which felt very long even with starters. We think we got behind a massive takeaway order. Good view of the river, comfy chairs.

We are in London for New Years and was looking for some good chinese food but didn’t want to go all the way to Chinatown. The concierge suggested this place and it did not disappoint. Great food and friendly service. i will definitely go back here when in town.

Booked here for Chinese New Year and it didn’t disappoint! EPIC lobster noodles, great duck pancakes and a whole host of new year delights. Already planning to come here next year!

Riverview was highly recommended by friends of mine. So I went with big expectations. This is not necessarily a good thing. I was being a vegetarian for the night and so although the menu is really large, my options were limited. I found my stir fry to be very mediocre.
The best thing about River View is the perfect River View over the Thames. Make sure you ask when booking as the inside space looks a bit drab. You know those settings with table cloths and napkins in cone shapes on the table in peaches and beige colours.
I’m not giving up though — I will try it again sometime.
They are closed between 3pm and 6pm during the week
