Serves fairly average but uninspiring Thai food. I went for Thai BBQ chicken with egg fried rice which was ok but I’m not sure I’d order that again. My girlfriend had a chicken curry which but compared to Busaba’s same offer it wasn’t near the same quality. We got a takeaway but when I picked it up I thought the atmosphere in the restaurant seemed nice.

My partner and I have been to Rice Thai several times now to eat in or take away. It is conveniently located; just 2 minutes from our house. The food is delicious and gorgeously presented, my favourite being the veggie tempura, egg fried rice, and green curry. They also scored brownie points by serving green tea latte, one of my all time favourite beverages, which is quite hard to find in London. It is still a little on the pricey side for a casual week night meal (approx £40 for a meal for two), so Rice Thai is a rare once-​in-​a-​few-​months treat.

Just ordered their delivery tonight and it was amazingly fresh, full of vegetables and good quality meat! The curries were delicious with lots of spice and fresh herbs (though a bit on the thin side sauce-​wise if you like really thick curries). Sticky rice was great. Vegetable tempura was indulgent and tasty. You could tell all of the food was prepared just before the meal as it was very crunchy (ie, veg had a nice bite to it) and fresh.
Would definitely order from here again, or eat in! Great Thai!

A really good, cheap Thai. The food is fresh and well made and very reasonably priced. Rice does a lunch time special offering a main course for just £5 or main and starter for £7/​8. It’s always quite empty at lunch time which surprises me so the service is usually quick and efficient. The décor is really nice as well, making this a firm favourite. You may have to occasionally listen to some cheesey power ballads but don’t this put you off! A good quality, well decorated thouroughly enjoyable restaurant!
