I’ll definitely be back, without a doubt. Not only are they in a convenient location — 5 min walk from the West Hampstead tube/overground/Thameslink station, max — the price is right and the staff is nice. It was a bit overwhelming for me at first, walking in to find a slight wait before my appointment and nowhere to sit, but on the plus side, I only waited 10 minutes and tea/coffee/water is free and alcoholic beverages aren’t badly priced! I was slightly confused at one point, though: I sat in a chair to have my hair washed and took my glasses off. At some point mid-wash the person washing my hair walked away and a different person replaced him. It was fine, but a bit of a shock to close my eyes to a man and open them to a woman! Gil cut my hair — very no nonsense, did exactly as I asked and gave me a great blow out. All in all, £39, just under an hour, and I was out. I was also given a loyalty card and I will certainly be making use of that!

I tried out Remix because of a Groupon deal they offered, 39 pounds for ½ head of highlights, cut and style. I had Dayan(pronounced Dan I think) and he was great! He did an older ladies short hair right before me and it looked FABULOUS! He used a different technique of painting on my highlights, rather then using foils. I was skeptical, but the final result turned out great. They did charge me an extra 15 pounds because my hair was longer then my shoulders, but that seems typical for all salons. Another bonus, the salon has a full bar, which I didn’t partake, but there appeared to be wines, lots of different liquors and juices. The lady next to me had some tea and they brought it out with a cookie as well. Now thats service! They also gave me a card when I left with set prices on it, as long as I have the card. 59 pounds for ½ head of highlights, cut and style(plus 15 pounds for long hair I’m assuming). I will definitely be back! Only three stops up from St. Johns Wood, where I live. The salons in St. Johns Woods run 150 – 200 pounds for similar services so this was a deal!

I would never ever go to this salon again! I did not even wait for the treatment! a price was agreed on the phone and when I got in they told me that it was the incorrect price and it would be more. The girl did not look like she knew what she was doing and made me feel uneasy! then I asked for change to the parking meter seeing as I was going to go to their salon and she told me we do not have change strange for a hairdresser it was at this stage that I decided to walk out! after travelling a long way no one bothered to call me to say they had quoted the wrong amount! I would NEVER go back here again!

I read some of the bad reviews here about remix but I have’ve got a different experience there. I had highlight, treatment, cut and blow dry at remix. I am very happy with the result. And even the final blow dry was excellent. All the staffs there were very friendly. I’ll definitely go back to remix for my next hair dos!

I have just had a brazilian blowdry with Remix and have to say, given some of the bad reviews here, I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome. I have had 4BB before this one with mixed results. The first two were done in Asia and were literally life changing. I still had to section my hair when drying it, and straighten it, but after doing this my hair looked and felt great and didnt frizz at all, even in 100% Hong Kong humidity which is unheard of for my hair. The second two were done in London and were no where near as good. My previous London salons took barely any time to apply the product and my hair looked pretty much the same after the treatments. Having looked everywhere in London for a salon that can emulate the amazing Hong Kong BB, I gave Remix a go. I phoned them up on the off chance and was told that even though I didnt have a groupon voucher, they would do it that day for me at £59. I arrived and nothing was mentioned about my hair being quite long(although it is quite fine). The guy even said I could also have it cut for a total price of £75. I was happy with this. I was also given a quick consultation from the manager about not to expect miracles, how everyones hair reacts differently, and how it wont straighten your hair, just smoothes it, etc. The girl who applied the product didnt interract with me much but was friendly enough. Its by no means a luxury treatment or good experience salon however I really dont mind if the treatment does the job! The treatment took nearly 2.5 hours in total and was done exactly how I remembered the Hong Kong ones to be done. My hair was left exactly how it should have been: straightened to perfection, smooth and shiny. It also feels like it is coated in a fruity smelling product. Post treatment, it definitely looks a little lank until washed after three days but you have to just bear this I have now washed my hair for the first time and it feels really good and was a dream to blowdry. It has held well and no frizz so far. I am so pleased to have found this salon its cheap and they know what they are doing with brazilian blowdrys. With regard to some of the negative comments posted here, I really think that people should not expect miracles. You wont come out with entirely different hair, just your hair on a really really good day. If you have frizzy, it will stop it. And of course all hair reacts differently. Also, in relation to the comments about additional bump ups on the price, the product is v. expensive and if you have thick or long hair it may naturally cost more — but — even with a £30 bump up cost, it is still really cheap compared to most salons out there and most importantly, it actually works. Good luck!

Hi, I came back second time to REMIX, to do my roots and Brazilian keratin treatment. And this time I decided to try the offer what they gave it to me last time for Gelish manicure and pedicure for 29,67£.Over all the hair was excellent as usual, but most adorable was when I saw my feet done as I never had before(usually, I have a problem with my feet, my nails are ingrowing and its very hard to treat them.)I was in surprise that I had huge choice of colours as well. I had Gelish manicure in another salon before but lasted for a week, compare to this time in Remix, lasted more then 3 weeks, I was amassed from the service. I highly recommend to try the salon and especially the nails, the nail technician is amazing.
