Pret is always of high quality food, but, if you want to remain knowing Pret as a good quality brand then purchase your food before 2pm… My Ham, tomatoe and cheese croissant(from the heated food section and was recommended by a work colleague) was amazing, but, anything like a croissant off the general counter(like my dessert for the day) should not be purchased post 2pm. Like I mentioned before, my ham, tomatoe and cheese croissant was really nice, but, if you are opting for a general croissant post 2pm then don’t. The croissant was hard, distasteful and the Tesco from across the road(2 croissant for £1.20 instead of 1 for £1.50) has always been a better option, but, decided to try my luck today and to my surprise shocked me to never buy croissants from there again as it was that bad… The customer service was just above decent with the little«do you need a bag» AFTER ordering a few bits, yet only asked for the sake of asking and had I said yes(which I hadn’t) world have probably resulted in a huff and sigh and then thw difficult task of picking up a bag and handing it to me(more sighs perhaps of I had said yes and waited for them to place ky items in a bag instead of them) I ought to try out other Pret’s post 3pm to purchase items to see how they stack up against this one, but, will need to try out the Pret near where I work first thing in the morning to actually make a judgement of croissants quality before banning myself from there… ***Quiet, clean and has amazing warm food and perhaps amazing sandwiches in general, but, would avoid any«underneath the counter»(literally) food post 3pm. Customer service was not customer orientated when I arrived, but, could have just been the timing. Will look forward to purchasing the same item(the colder version of the chocolatevcroissant at 9am one morning at work and re-reviewing if there was any change, 2 stars purely for no queues at 3pm and the decent warm food…***
