I come to this place quite often and only because I am trying to eat healthy because I find their food slightly tasteless. I know it’s fresh but I wish they also used good quality ingredients which is not the case. I cannot drink their coffee — it’s too bitter. Some of their salads are not too bad. The service is quite efficient also hence I’m giving them 3 stars.

Another common chain around London. Cheap, yummy, fast, etc. I prefer Pret A Manger to EAT. I really like the croissants and coffee, but especially for the soup. Def recommend the mushroom risotto soup. You’ll see a lot of locals stopping by here to grab coffee or lunch during their lunch break. The staff are always really nice to. Overall, I have only positive experiences at all Pret A Mangers Ive been to and only positive things to say. The fact that I just found out they have them in the US makes me happy also.

Toujours un succès ! Que cela soit àNYC ou à London prêt à manger est un lieu ou bien manger(en mode sandwich), dans un cadre agréable pour un orix raisonnable. Je recommande.

I’ve been coming to this location daily for the past three days, since it’s just a couple minutes walk from my hotel. It’s a chain restaurant here in London, offering baked goods, coffee, and of course sandwiches in a crinkly, biodegradable plastic bag! My favorite breakfast item is the smoked salmon and egg salad sandwich. It has a few sprouts to add some balance. For some reason, the salty smoked salmon and creamy egg salad goes very well together. Like my other favorite lunch sandwich place, Paul, they use long, crunchy baguette breads which makes it easy to eat. Both the chocolate and almond croissants are also excellent — very flakey and crispy if you like that. It’s not very dense but very tasty — a perfect way to end the meal without being overly full.

Great place with absolutely lovely staff. I used to visit this place every morning and I always found the food and staff to be perfect. Extremely healthy food here. Their slogan is «Made today, gone tomorrow». I have no idea how accurate this is but everything I buy from their various branches(which is a lot) always seems as fresh as it can be. The only thing I didn’t like was how quickly their really good stuff sells out but other than that, top marks all round.

I love this place for what it is: a quick place to get salads/sandwiches/lunch item-type foods when you’re in a hurry. They have a great selection of different salads, sandwiches, etc. for those who are on the go. We were trying to catch the train to Nice and just needed something to eat for the train ride. This was perfect. Also, the food is pretty good and hits the spot.

Pret A Manger started to pop up around Washington DC a few years back so that was my first introduction to this franchise. This location was conveniently located right outside of my hotel(The Cumberland) and it was great. Fantastic selection of sandwiches, snacks, drinks, soups, etc…

Love this place! Coffee is great, service is nice and quick. I had the shrimp and avocado salad which was great. Awesome place for a quick snack. Sisters had the croissant and enjoyed it.

My family and I were on our way to the Bond Street tube stop and were in great need of some breakfast before starting out our dayventure. The doors to a stubby little mall opened, and low and behold, Pret A Manager was beaming right at us. The croissants here are fresh, delicate, and oh so tasty for a reasonable price! The mozzarella and tomato croissants were delicious and not too cheesy. But the real winner in my book were the chocolate croissants. They’re filled with a surprisingly large amount of chocolate inside of them. With each bite you got a taste of real cocoa with your fluffy croissant. They have something called a babyccino which is basically a cappucino minus the coffee for kids. It’s free and in a very small cup. The cappuccino here was delicious and went very well with my croissants in the morning. Pret A Manager was definitely one of my favorite places for breakfast in London. Now if only they opened up one in California… :)

As somebody said in one of the reviews, if you’ve been to one you’ve been to it all. This place is just everywhere in London like a starbucks back in the U.S. known for its pre-made sandwiches, salads, and anything you want to eat on the go. Sandwiches are ok, dont expect it to be great since they are pre-made. Also tried the coffee — not bad but I usually like my coffee a little stronger. If you live and work in London then this place is perfect for getting food on the go.

I love Pret A Manger in New York, but it cannot compare to the London version. The spicy crawfish sandwich is something that would make New Orleans proud! The croissants, and other variety here are something I hope wil be brought to the USA! Pret a Manger deserves credit for helping make London one of the world’s great culinary cities.

Pret A Manger is a a casual place to eat. It’s a chain restaurant in London that’s why you will not have trouble finding one at the streets. Melted cheese, Mozzarella and Tomato pastry was my favorite! You can feel like you’re eating a mini-pizza. You can find at the refrigerators all different kinds of sandwiches mostly baguette and hot wraps, soup, coffee, or tea. too. Pret A Manger delicious alternative to fast food chain restaurants like MC Donald’s.

Really 3.5 star, but I’m in a generous, rounding up sort of mood. Predictable. Reliable. Words that, in my youth, I negatively used to describe used cars and unwanted suitors. I wanted new, exciting, explosive experiences every. time. I. ate(or dated). Now that I’ve aged, my preferences have changed. I’m not trying to roll the damn dice every time I get a sandwich. To that end, Pret a Manager is like a nice Ford Taurus– Pret a Manger is consistently reliable and pretty good. You want a particular sandwich, you come here and you get the same thing, each and every time. They’re pretty darn tasty too.

Busy street and busy café but speedy service. I came in during the lunch rush and I had just missed a large group of tourists which probably explains the rushed customer service but it was understandable and not a total mood-killer. I’ve had the smoked salmon and butter sandwich(£2.5) and the ham cheese and tomato croissant(£1.8). The sandwich was simple and light, just the way I like my sandwiches. But, I can say that the croissant was definitely my favorite! Melted cheese harmonizing with the ham and tomato in a perfectly seasoned croissant– I felt like I was eating a mini-pizza. So addictive that I crave this croissant– totally worth the 450 calories!

I think Pret is pretty marvelous. I think if it swallowed and replaced every chain sub shop in America I would feel no loss. And quite a bit of gain. The food theme is admirable on a level with our Chipotle: decent, less-processed ingredients assembled fairly simply and fresh every day. I don’t THINK the baguettes are fully leavened non-shortcut bread, but unlike our Subway/Jimmy John’s/Quiznos/Penn Station/Firehouse/Blimpie/etc. I can’t be quite sure: they are actually crusty outside and moist/chewy inside. There is that real-food satisfaction and satiety. And it’s NOT expensive, even in London. I recall paying about 3 pounds for a very satisfying ham & cheddar sandwich It’s a knockoff of the mind-blowing independent boulangerie-based sandwich shops you can find in Paris, and a quite serviceable one at that. The best«staple» fast food I think I’ve ever come across.

To EAT or to Pret? The dilemma that plagues every Londoner. But I’d say Pret’s sweet chili prawn wrap trumps everything. I’ve memorized the ingredient list on the back of the wrapper so I can make it myself later. Prawns, cilantro, cucumber, sweet chili sauce-so simple yet so freaking delicious. Pret please get yoself over to the states. I’ll miss you dearly.

These were located everywhere all over London and similar to a over-priced Starbucks. They boast that they have very ‘healthy’ and organic types of food but when we arrived, all we saw that we’d like was from the bakery. Two croissants, some small(very small) fruit cups & a bottle of water ran us about $ 20. It was definitely over-priced.

If you want a fresh sandwich or salad, head to Pret a manger. The prices aren’t ridiculously high like most decent sandwich shops you find in London. You will find that the menu changes daily with a variety of soups and hot sandwichs alternating. The sandwiches remain mainly the same with a different one or two changing for the time of year. They have a couple salads, but not a large variety which I wish they would make some more! They have some healthy snacks like apples, banana’s, dried fruit, yogurt covered nuts, snack bars, and skinny popcorn. Suitable for vegetarians and carnevours. Pret has started to serve soy latte’s and at a better price that you can find at costa or starbucks but just the same quality product and even speedier service. The ambience is pretty sterile, with clean lines and not a lot of frills. Just a few stools and seats around to enjoy a quick bite and head out if you’re not just grabbing your food to go.

I asked my hotel manager for a casual place to eat that was not a chain thinking he was going to tell me to go to Mc Donalds. Well… he told me to go to Pret a Manger… while is a chain… he said there food is very good and they give anything they don’t sell at the end of the day to the homeless… sounds cool. You go in and there are open refrigerators that have all different kinds of sandwiches mostly baguette. At lunch, they have hot wraps too. You bring your selection to the counter where you can also purchase soup, coffee, or tea. They have a take away and eat in price. The price to take it away is about 50 pence less per item than eating in. Genius! I never had to find a table even during the busy lunch hour… I had the Thai Chili Chicken which was delish… It’s like chicken salad with Sweet Thai Chili sauce. The baguette that the chicken is housed in is VERY fresh and with a slight crisp outside. It really reminded me of a Banh Mi. The price was under 3 pounds. They also make yummy breakfast baguettes. I had the egg and bacon. And the egg is basically egg salad. Thought that was weird but it tasted pretty good. One morning I did stop in hoping to grab some lunch stuff for an all day bus tour but they don’t sell the lunch till later… A few days into my London trip, and I realize this place is like Starbucks is to Seattle. You will not have trouble finding one or several in close proximity. They are all about using local in season ingredients, they donate to the homeless and they are OCD about recycling(will see signs on the wall everywhere). Really wish there was one of these in the US. Highly recommend! Well .not really because you’ll probably end up there anyways… lol.

Though the weak dollar may not stretch so far over here, I’m a big fan of the Love Bar… where else can you find a combination of vanilla, pumpkin and pistachio all wrapped into one bar?

Being in London for the first time, I saw this EVERYWHERE! It is like the equivalent of Starbucks in the states. They have a wonderful variety of foods to choose from. If you’re in a rush to catch all the attractions and want a quick but pretty good bite I suggest stopping by Pret a Manger. I had the chicken avocado and a squash soup which were both delicious! Everything seemed pretty fresh. The best part like I said was it was quick!

I have three words for you… Cheese And Pickle This is BYFAR the best sandwich on the planet & Pret A Manger serves it up right For those not in the know(USA), Pret offers shelves & shelves of packed sandwiches… but they are FRESHLY made & ready to go. Get your regular fav lunch sandwich & get out the door that much quicker b/c your delish sandwich is already made Americans tend to have this preconceived notion that anything already in the triangle packaging must be old, moldy & terrible… hear me now! This is not the case w/Pret Whether on sliced bread or a baguette, you will find the below yummiliscious fillings: Mature Cheddar Cheese Branston Pickle Watercress If you’re lucky, you’ll also get sun-dried tomatoes like I had on my baguette today & that just kicks it up a notch Pret also makes their own Crisps & I can highly recommend the Cheddar & Onion Super-crispy & tons of cheesy flavor w/none of that MSG we Americans tend to put in all our bags of chips Three cheers for Pret A Manger & it’s best three-ingredient sandwich!
