Had pizza delivered. Website didn’t work, but they were very friendly when we were ordering. Pizza was delicious, although it was not hot. Reheated it in the oven, problem solved! Very thin, crispy crust. I had the truffle oil, husband had the pepperoni. Will definitely order again.

Pricey it may be(£8.90 for a margherita, over £10 for fancier toppings) but Porcini’s pizzas are surprisingly good for a pizzeria that makes no boasts as to the quality of its offerings e.g. cooked in a wood-fired oven etc. The bases are wonderfully light, almost wafery. Moreover, despite this restaurant’s apparent modesty, the pizzas do seem to be cooked in a wood-fired oven. The toppings on my margherita were good quality, in particular the cheese which hadn’t been applied too heavily. And the fresh basil leaves added on before serving were a nice, tasty touch. I got takeaway but Porcini is a restaurant first and foremost, with plenty of tables. It’s the best pizzeria I know of in the area.

It’s a nice italian rest. The pizza is thin crust not the typical Napoli thick crust pizza but the service was really good and the food was great we ended up paying just 25£ for 2 drinks 1 starter and 2 pizzas. If you live in the area you should check it.
