Chalk and Cheese — Not the latest offering from PGGs
OK! After slating the Pizza Go Go in Chingford for their lack of customer service and that they seem not to have the ability to deliver what is ordered, to boot the non existent support or interest from PGGs head office why is it, I hear you ask, am I ordering from another of their restaurants?
Well I never had any issue with the food itself, in fact it is one of the tastiest pizza delivery companies around so I wanted to see if we could get good food and service from the PGG family.
Let’s get this point out of the way, the food did turn up a little later than advised but I put that down to the road works by Walthamstow Dogs (ex Walthamstow Dogs; It has ceased to be!) so I’m not going to hold that against them. OK! now that is behind us lets talk about food and service.
When taking the order the gentleman was extremely polite and when I called back on a second occasion he was nearly able to remember exactly what I ordered previously even down to the extra toppings! The delivery guy stood at my door with a beaming smile and was not grumpy at all compared to certain delivery guys, which is a pleasant surprise. And most importantly, the food was hot and tasty and the drinks well chilled, if you live in the area covered by Chingford’s Pizza GoGo and are fed up with the service then try Walthamstow.
