Decent Thai with excellent prices. Seriously, a Pad Thai or Curry at 5.95 is definitely an attraction in a city when most dishes go for 9 or 10 more. I like their tofu dishes, juicy and succulent, but sometimes they can be a bit soggy or too oily. Local to Hackney/Canonbury/De Beavoir town for those who live easy, their delivery service is super fast too. The rice portions could be bigger, that’s another thing to keep in mind.

Pin Petch is a pretty blah standard of Thai food take away. The food was okay, but really just okay. Dim Sum starter had already had the soy sauce poured on to it. Which is a bit of a crap thing to do. I love to dip food in sauce of all kinds, so was a bit miffed at not getting the chance to do it. Also it made the dim sum kind of soggy and brown looking. Don’t care for brown food much. My Thai red chicken curry wasn’t really red, it lacked spice too. The coconut rice was decent enough. The chili chicken noodles were pretty brown looking, a bit spicy, but not great. Wouldn’t bother ordering from Pin Petch again, Ittos is a much safer choice, shame it wasn’t open when I needed them the most.

The food here is absolutely stunning. If ever I am in Newington Green, I come here for some food. The curries are beautiful as is the chilli beef. The meat is very hot, does make your lips tingle afterwards, but it’s oh so worth it. The prices are very reasonable too, which makes it a great place to eat in, but an amazing place to get takeaway from. You’ll find yourself working through the entire menu in no time.

best thai takeaway in the area, without a doubt. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, and really really tasty! haven’t tried the restaurant itself, but every time we’ve ordered in(and that’s quite a few times) it’s been excellent. In fact. I think it’s the best thai takeout I’ve had in london. i’m getting hungry thinking about the chicken chili, massaman curryand oh those fish cakesYUM!
