Really poor quality meat and ingredients. Didn’t taste nice. Not much to say really. The smell of the meat was enough to turn us off eating it.

Visiting from the States. Our Airbnb landlord upstairs suggested a well priced and very tasty italian restaurant nearby. We ordered three dishes, and each was very good. The chianti was tasty. Nice service, and they are proud of their restaurant. They should be, it is a nice, tasty, well priced meal.

Whoaa It’s weird how an Italian restaurant can makes the best English breakfast in London. I usually come here with my sis for my pizza dose or their pasta meals, but I saw a a lot of people ordering the Full English and I had to try. It was sooo worth it. I don’t know if it is propitiate for a girl to talk like this but: Ohh the sausage was so delicious, very juicy and hot. You could taste the small chunks of meat that were in there. The scrambled eggs were so warm and tasty and the bread was super soft. My only complain is the service as the staff seems a bit snobbish and unwelcoming, but that is a thing you get used to when you live in London.

Merci pesantissimo!

DONOTGOHERE. My name is Pau I come from Barcelona, I been in UK for about 10 months. I never had such a terrifying experience in my life. Situation: We ask for the 20% of offered from Unilocal in the restaurant. After talking with one of the assistants and telling us that wasn’t such a offer. The manager came to talk with us very aggressive without let me talk that we couldn’t get the discount. He ask me to leave the table and talk in the back of the restaurant very aggressive which I decided not to. After trying to find a solution from my part, I was always talking with respect. At this point the manager took our plates in the middle of the dinner and told us to leave. They guy has serious problems and extremely aggressive, he wanted to punch us. WEHADTORUNAWAY. As I said I’m just a normal guy with a few friends.

We managed to snag a last minute reservation on New Years Eve at 7:30. This place is less than a block from our new place so we were excited to try it out! The prices are modest, between 8 and 13 pounds for most dishes. We had the funghi pizza and added pepperoni. We didn’t care for the pepperoni, but maybe it’s just not what we are used to(we’re from the U.S.). The pizza in general was pretty good, but we will probably stick to pasta next time we come back. We also ordered the Gorgonzola gnocchi and it was delicious! It was a huge portion and very rich. I highly recommend it. For dessert, we had the chocolate soufflé which was very yummy. I’d also recommend this! The menu is quite large so it will please picky eaters. Also, lots of vegetarian options. The ambiance was very cozy and the service was good! Check this place out if you’re nearby!

Good spot with nice food and a nice buzz about it with most of the tables occupied but still room for spontaneous drop-in. Would definitely go again.

Really lovely breakfast spot especially if you want to take a stroll on Primrose Hill after or before your meal. I love their eggs benedict. They also have great lattes and coffees. I love sitting outside here especially when the weather is nice. You can take your time and have a leisurely breakfast at a reasonable price. Their lunch menu with pizza’s also looks great value!

this restaurant is fantastic. Food is always solid — very rare to find fish consistently executed wel and cooked lightly so it just falls apart. Perfect and 3 out of the 4 of us ordered the sea bass Spigola. Sensational. Service is very discerning, they don’t harrass you — they’re careful to watch to see if you’re ready to order without disturbing you — very professional in reading the tables. They also let me try several pours of wine before I decided on a bottle. Very rare level of customer service these days. Also tremendous value for money. In that sense its easily the best restaurant on Primrose Hill high street. We live round the corner and are disgusted by the success of overpriced rip-off Greek institution Lemonia — overcooked everything and entitled wait staff. Go to Pesantissimo!

I live very close, so I have visited a good few times for cooked breakfast. The cooked breakfasts are very good value for money, and very delicious. I haven’t had a problem with the quality of the food at all. Location is also great as it’s really close to the park, and it’s really lovely if you sit near to the window. I have never had to wait really long amounts of time for food either even at busy times, which is always good. The only reason I am giving Pesantissimo a 3 star rating is because every time I have been in, I have had a very cold greeting from the waiting staff. It is so important to greet customers in a friendly manner, and hire friendly waiting staff. Despite the food being great, if you are going to be served by rude people, it ruins the whole dining experience and puts potential customers off. Last time I visited with my partner, the young lady saw we were waiting and gave us a really frosty look. She forgot to say hello, and after us waiting for a few minutes without even a look of recongnition or smile, she eventually came over and asked where we wanted to sit. It wasn’t particularly busy either, I just got the impression she couldn’t be bothered to be polite. When she did serve us, all she did was sigh, and it felt like such an effort. The time before that, I visited with 4 other friends(There was 5 of us all together) and again, we didn’t get a hello or smile. Just another frosty look and a comment of ‘Have you booked???’ in a really inconvenient tone that there was 5 of us! Do they want the business or not? It’s a bit of a shame as I said, the food is lovely and sorry for giving a negative review, but in my opinion they should look at hiring politer waiting staff.
