This place is a regular for me from ordering cakes to having afternoon tea. Ordering cakes is very easy and the variety is phenomenal. What’s great is that all allergies and preferences are clearly stated and therefore they appeal to a wide range of customers. The fresh cream cakes are my favourite and their scones. Breakfast is good too and there is something to suit everyone’s needs.

What happened to them??? The quality of their pastry has seriously gone down in recent years. We had Almond Croissant and Frangipane yesterday and both were definitely below par. The former was just like the ones you get from supermarket and had a small glob of cheap marzipan, while the latter lacked any nice flavour — why don’t they add cognac? It is most unfortunate this station does not have Paul or Le Pain Quotidien. You just cannot compare the quality of Patisserie Valerie’s baked products with these two superb outlets. I think I would be better off buying the Bakewell Tart from M & S next time. It is much cheaper and tastier.

We had two cakes, some lasagna, and the holiday special«sunflower» ravioli. Everything tasted great, there was plenty of food(especially with the lasagnas), quite a few vegetarian options, and not for a terrible price!

Patisserie Valerie was born in London in 1926, when Madam Valerie came to London with the thought of bringing the tastes of European cuisine to England, which became very successful. It has since opened many branches across London, and this specific one is a short walk from London Victoria station. In addition to selling a decent selection of foods, they also offer a cake making service; be it wedding, birthday or any other special occasion. When I was in here yesterday for breakfast I had a lovely experience. The staff were so lovely and the atmosphere with other diners was pleasant. The free wifi was enjoyed while I feasted on a gorgeous eggs benedict and a strawberry and banana smoothie. Definitely a great place to go for a bite to eat any time of the day, but it is a bit on the pricey side.
