Another place in London that I miss that I’m afraid I will never find an equivalent to here in the US! I couldn’t go a week without popping into this store to get something, a card, bookmarks, a trinket, something. I made Easter baskets for my friends all with items from this store. And Welcome to London sets from this store as well. There is a style of something for any one that you are looking to give to and the prices are really reasonable. Best of all, you can send a one-of-a-kind greeting that looks good and didn’t bust the bank.

This is quite a small paperchase, but is really great if you live locally, as it fills the gap nicely, as you cant get much nice but affordable stationary around(i.e if you want something in the between Smythson and WHSmith). There are lots of different cards and wrapping paper. You can also buy an assortment of notebook s and journals. There is usually a good range of diaries, including filofax(with refills). It is also a really great place to pick up last minute presents, you can usually find something for just about anyone, from little toys or joke gifts, to something for the home or a price of leatherwear.

Paperchase just never let’s me down. I know I have already written one review from the amazing Tottenham Court Road flagship store, but after visiting this smaller one and finding everything I needed for homemade Christmas cards, I agree that this concept seriously works. It is a different story how my cards turned out to be, there is only one artist to blame. Next year I will be using the same shop but getting the cards ready made, and that is another thing where this chain beats its rivals with the selection.
