This place is great… if someone else(read: sugar daddy) is bankrolling your night out. Sky high drink prices & crazy entry fee are definitely down-sides. However, on the semi-plus side — the music is fantastic & the drinks are poured freehand — no miniscule measuring cups here! The crowd is eurotrashy — if you’re into that sort of thing… at least it’s not chav & uni.

this place is over priced and small. i know, i know! london is known for small venues. but over compensating the lack of space with«stylish» decore was just too much POSH at once. the story goes, my uni for some odd reason seems to like to waste money and throw parties here for their students and staff. providing free champaigne and some ordervs(excuse my spelling) for the first hour of the party. inveitably, the champaign high combined with the food drown out the drunkeness needed to enjoy this place. so, if you are looking to spend you months wages in 1 night and hob nob with psudo upper class, then this is the place for you!

A typical West End club. Utterly expensive and completely pretentious, with plenty of perma tanned scantily clad women. Nevertheless, it can be fun if you go with a good crowd. I would drink before coming here though as you don’t want to be breaking your bank balance over ridiculously priced mixers!

So i visited this club called Pangea which i must say had a great atmosphere with a good music policy and trendy London people around the place. The space is not so big, there are two rooms, the main one with r&band commercial music and a second one, smaller, with lounge music. If your looking to go all vip on yourself tables costs around £500. With coca cola’s costing nearly £8 and entry fee costing £20 on a weekend(good thing i went in the week when it is free) this is a place you need to have a lot of money for because the price for everything is sky high!

Pangea is not the club it used to be in my opinion. Gone are the days when wednesday night at Pangea so the biggest names and players in London lounging on the sofas at this basement club. friday nights now under the GLM team are the best nights here. The club itself takes inspiration from everything tribal and african, with african beats behind the music. The dance area is around the seated area which can get a little over crowded but witha big group of friends is lots of fun. The bathrooms are fun and kitsch, worth a visit for that alone!

PANGEAISSICKKKK!!! I went to Pangea on a thursday. All my friends had been talking about Pangea n even though I had NOOO energy och will to go, I was forced by my friends to join them. Since I went to Pangea by car I had no problem getting there comfortabely. When entering Pangea my first reaction was claustrophobia. I am used to BIG clubs with several floors and huge dancefloors. Pangea is a small club, it is an open space area with a small dancefloor in front of the DJ. Even though it was quite small, the decoration stole my entire focus. I have to be honest and say that I am considering going to small clubs. There were beauuuutiful seating areas shaped like puddles and tables with clean ready champagne glasses. I think there were 2 small bars, due to the generally cheap prices in the bar my memory has been slightly affected(lol). However, of what I remember I bought 3 double Tequila shots and 1 coke for £10…very good I would say. Sonce this was a private party I cannot really comment on the music, however I believe that all kinds of music is played at Pangea depending on what day it is. Pro’s: CLEAAANNNN toilets, amazing decorations, comfortable seating areas, air conditioning, friendly staff Con’s: slightly small for my liking
