I wasn’t particularly impressed with anything here. Firstly the customer service is shockingly bad — their staff can’t seem to multi-task or just be friendly, I wouldn’t say they have a very welcoming atmosphere, and the guy who signed me up seemed like he’d much rather be somewhere else when he was talking me through everything. The changing rooms are not clean. They try to clean them — but they need some kind of shoes off system or something, because it felt like I was going to get a foot infection the one time I forgot my flip-flops. In the 3 months of my membership, one of the two hairdryers in the female changing rooms was out of order for about 3 weeks total. Can you imagine 10 women with wet hair in the changing rooms in a rush to get to work and there’s only ONE hair dryer??? NIGHTMARE! It seems utterly ridiculous that with the membership being what it is(£30p/m swim only) I had to pay 20p every time I wanted to use a locker. Even at puregyms you just bring your own padlock — why would they try to extort more money out of you like that? The full gym membership I believe was something like £55 — totally not worth it, that gym is minuscule! The pool is decent however, I luckily rarely went at peak times so didn’t experience it being crazy full. And it’s nice to be able to have the steam and sauna’s. I think I’ll only come here again if I’m dying for a swim — thankfully you can purchase one off swim passes.

The library is on first and second floors of the building(ground floor being dedicated to a gym). On the first floor you find a coffee shop and there is also a children area. While computers and«study» area are located on the second floor, the space is particularly noisy since both library floors are not separated and it is impossible not to hear the noise made by toddlers on the first floor. This is a shame because otherwise there is space to sit and plug laptops. Sadly the place feels like a social club rather than a peaceful and quiet library. Pancras square Library(1st&2nd floor): Opening hours are great: Mon-Sat: 8am-8pm & Sun 11am-5pm

I had such high hopes for a brand new gym being put into Kings Cross, with a pool and close to transport, but found myself sadly disappointed. Lockers: These can be found within the separate locker rooms should be be going for a swim(in the basement), but if you are looking to workout in the gym itself you will find the lockers awkwardly placed outside in a strange waiting area. This then means if you are in either the mens or womens locker rooms you have to leave your kit out for anyone to ruffle through during your shower. Not at all secure, and everyone constantly complains about this epic error in safety and design. Also, for some reason this seems to be the only gym that does not rent lockers to customers. Another serious problem as people don’t want to carry their gym bag and computer bag into meetings. Fees: WAY too high. You could join one of the snazzier gyms in London, with rented lockers, and be quite happy. Over capacity: DONOTCOMEAFTERWORK. Gym memberships seem to have been given away without thinking as it is so packed that every night after work you will find people pretending to stretch on the floor in a line waiting for the next machine(any machine) to open up. Coming after work ends up a nightmare for those of you actually looking to workout, shower, find a locker.
