I had no idea what we were doing when we came here. I think when you move to another country you immediately question every freaking move you make. Do they seat you? Do you wait to be seated? I’ll ask the guy– he just ignored me. Ahhhhh awkward. Ok I guess we’ll sit. Do we order water? What does this menu say? There aren’t descriptions for stupid people who don’t know this stuff. Uhhhh I know the word tikka(yeah I’m that girl). The waiter could tell we didn’t know jack diddly doo about Indian food so I made him order for me. It was fun. A garlic naan, chili garlic naan, rice, tarka daal, karahi mutter paneer, and some veggie samosas later and we were super satisfied. The tarka daal had a great flavor with a spiciness that creeps up on you and the karahi muter paneer had these pees that added a sweet fresh flavor to the paneer and sauce. We ate a LOT and still had food to take home. Win win win. Next time we’ll bring our own beer!

Delicious! While nothing can really compare to Tayyabs, Lahore does a pretty good job competing. Definitely start with the lamb chops, and really… I could probably eat an entire meal of lamb chops, but there’s so much other good stuff here you shouldn’t limit yourself to one thing! The only problem we had was we ordered too much, but that’s always the plan isn’t it?!

I can say this was one of my favorite Indian meals ever — delicious food and big portions. It’s a decent sized, well set-up /spread out restaurant. I would say that the servers could not care less if you are there. They bring you your food with little fanfare and are not particularly friendly. I am big on service, so this would usually make me not recommend a restaurant. But I thought the food was so good that I would recommend it despite the service if you are in the area.

I just witnessed staff acting in a homophobic manner to an older gay male couple. As I was waiting for my takeout I couldn’t help notice chuckling and eye rolls between employees while serving the gay couple. The restaurant was almost empty. As the server brought them their drinks he looked at another employee and laughed in a rude, sarcastic manner, with an air of disdain and hautiness. It’s kind of hard to explain it, but it was so obvious, and shocking, that I left the restaurant. Everyone has the right to eat wherever they wish, but I just wanted to inform people of what is going on there. :/

Went to this restaurant based on a friends recommendation. The staff managed to forget our order and needed a lot of prompting to bring out any food. Needless to say, we left. Food smells good, but you may be in for a wait.

My friend and I were watching Homeland, when we experienced a mutual hankering for Indian Food. I know… kinda weird. Anyway, my friend recommended we order from Lahore. I ordered the Tarka Daal and my friend the Karahi Muttar Paneer. We ordered rice and plain naan on the side. We waited for an hour and a half for our food to arrive even though we live 5 minutes away from the restaurant. When the food finally came my ravenous stomach was left unsatisfied by the golden layer of oil that rested on the top of my Daal. My friend’s dish, the paneer, was a bit better. I wouldn’t order from here again… I don’t know, maybe I ordered the wrong thing because my friend was raving about this place.

Superb Pakastani cuisine without going to East London or Birmingham. I really like Tandori Fish and Lamb Methi .BYOB keeps the bill down.

First introduced to this place through a Pakistani friend. Incredible food, must try the pork chops as whatever seasoning they use likely contains small traces of crack. BYOB though if you’d like a drink with your meal. Best Pakistani food I’ve found in London thus far; atmosphere isn’t the best, but I could care less when the food is as good as it is.

Ever since living near Brick Lane I have been a fan of LKH. If I could have arranged for the birth of my first child there at the LKH off of Commercial Road I would have… ahem…this new branch however is not upto scratch though. They have messed up my takeaway order a few times and the atmosphere eating there could be better. The staff are relatively nice and they do make up for their mistakes when you highlight them. Definitely worth eating there. Them again I love Spice!

One of my favorite Indian(Pakastani) restaurants in London for the food. Ambience is a bit lacking. My favorite dish is the Aubergine but can heartily recommend the kebabs as well. Also not sure how it is related to more well-known Lahore Kebab House on Commercial St.

Lahore has some of the best Lamb and kebabs I’ve had in London. And I’ve had a lot. Theoretically related to Lahore Kebab House in Whitechapel(not 100% sure), the mixed kebab starter of tender grilled chicken, spiced kofta-type minced lamb, and lamb chops is killer. Followed by some keema(minced lamb curry) and garlic naan or roti, accompanied by some beer from the off license across the street(or a jug of their smooth lassi), it just doesn’t get any better. You won’t leave hungry.
