Good service but don’t rely on them for proper measurements. I rented kit for Royal Ascot on the Saturday and the hat was too small as was the vest. How difficult is it to measure? I won’t be back.

Oliver Brown is a rare treat: perhaps the only makers of ready-​to-​wear proper riding breeches. You might guess from my picture that I have more than a passing interest in things equestrian. Upon finding this shop, in my enthusiasm I bought a pair in cavalry twill and a pair in bedford cord so that will see me out for the rest of the century, at least. They sell a lot of other things too city suits, velvet smoking jackets, linen suits, morning suits, tweeds, top hats indeed you could get quite comprehensively kitted out here. They sell nice silver-​mounted hunting flasks, but one thing I can’t understand is why they don’t sell cocktail cigarettes. Anyone know?
