Wow. Travelling from NYC — London, we got off the plane starving and figured we’d make a stop in Golders Green prior to going further to our destination. We chose Novellino and they did not disappoint. From A — Z our experience was fantastic. In a packed restaurant we waited less than 5 minutes for them to arrange a table for us and quickly came over with menus, bread and water. We quickly ordered a bunch of dishes, pictured below and as well, they were super fast with bringing them out of the kitchen. The tuna carpaccio was incredible. Perfect taste and texture. My second best dish was the Mediterranean pasta, an absolute must get. Perfectly Al dente with amazing spices and veggies in the dish. Wow. We did love the fish and chips too. I loved that they use a true authentic British batter. And dessert was no less amazing. I can’t wait for my next trip to London, so I can dine here again.

This place is very good. We came here for breakfast and was very surprised. On that street its very difficult to find place like this. Nice, clean, and looking good. Food came on time. Was excellent. We will back again

I’ve really enjoyed Novellinos both as a coffee shop and an occasional dinner spot. For coffee, it’s very reasonable, and you get served at your table as it is a restaurant. It makes a very nice break in the day. For meals, their food is always top quality, well prepared and presented. It is a popular eating place that is popular and well liked. As a kosher restaurant it is on the milk side so its not for carnivores.

Novellino won that extra star from me for letting me sit there all morning reading after I’d finished my excellent brunch of poached eggs on toast in a mushroom cream sauce. The sauce was one of the most flavorful treatments of the mushroom that I’ve ever experienced, the eggs perfectly done, and the toast crispy enough to hold its form whilst soaking up creamy mushroom. The portion was a bit on the small side for the price(6 pounds including service) but that probably wouldn’t have crossed my mind if the toast had been a thick slice rather than thin. My tap water was freshly be-lemoned and everything came out to the table quickly. The other folks there were a huge range of young people noshing on baked goods(which looked delish), grownup couples talking over coffee, and small groups of older ladies. It seems to appeal to all types. As are most places in the area, it is kosher.
