Love this place we always get the no bones about it! With fours sides which are great to try a taste of everything. Great way to share a platter of boneless breast and things with mash peas and coleslaw and a corn which is great!!!

I love Nando’s. I don’t get anything exciting – just a grilled chicken breast in a pita with lettuce and tomato. The facility isn’t the tidiest late into the night when people come stumbling out of pubs to grab a bite to eat but we didn’t come here for the ambience now did we? There is a security guard here late at night to keep out the riff raff, apparently. Of course I’ll be back.

This nandos has a tendency to make the chicken overcooked and burnt at places. We have been here multiple times, thinking that the blackened chicken last time was a one-off mistake by the cook, but it was overcooked each time. We visited many other nandos in London and only this nandos has this problem.

I came here because I really fancied some pre show chicken! The guy who took my order was so friendly and when I placed my order I just ordered a tap water but he gave me the soft drink glass and said I could help myself to soft drinks!!! Free drink and as many refills as I like??! Now that’s winning service. Just shows you its good to be friendly! The actual chicken wings were burnt which was a shame and I didn’t want go complain after the stellar service!

After a day at Camden Market some friends and I stopped in to Nando’s no only to escape to the bleak evening, but to feed our tummies. I loved that this is a specialty chicken restaurant because I love chicken. I had a chicken wrap with chips and I thought that it was absolute delicious. My friends on the other hand thought that they’re meal was just alright, but we all enjoyed the mild, hot, and lemon herb sauces. I found the prices to be reasonable and my only complain here would be that they have a waiter service.

What an affordable meal on vacation? A casual place to grab a good meal without breaking the bank in London. The portions are good, and the quality is as well. You go up and pay and wait for your order to be called out while you find seating, which makes it good for groups.

Okay– so I know Nando’s is not gourmet dining but I really think after all my visits here I should finally rate them. This Nando’s is the best run Nando’s I have ever been to. The manager here is so friendly and welcomes everyone in as a result everything here flows smoothly and efficiently. As a vegetarian they have tons of options! They have a beanie burger(my favorite), a veggie burger, a halloumi and portobello burger– which btw all can be done in the form of either wraps, pitas, or bugers. I always get the beanie burger with cheese and pineapple. You can choose between an assortment of flavors on how spicy you want your product. They also have flavors like mango and lime and lemon and herb if you do not prefer spicy at all. I also love their peri fries. I know it’s a chain but I greatly appreciate all the vegetarian offerings that they have.

For being known as a chicken spot, they do a pretty good job on catering to vegetarians too. I don’t call myself a vegetarian, but chicken is something I don’t eat anymore. I ordered a portobello & halloumi cheese wrap. It was delicious!

Nando’s is probably my favourite«safe» fallback option when I don’t know where to eat/can’t be bothered to go searching. Sure, they don’t serve happy chicken(although they do claim that the chicken is slightly better off than those used by KFC), but I will admit to having serious cravings sometimes(tip: it’s all about single-handedly obliterating a sharing platter). Anyway, not much to say about this one, other than it was kind of heaven-sent at the time(22:15 on a Sunday) and the staff were very friendly in spite of this. Nando’s are doing a fairly good job of product uniformity, albeit not quite as meticulous in this respect as McD’s, and I can say that Malaysian Nando’s is pretty much the same, except the chicken is a little less dry. While I’m really not a fan of the whole chain restaurant thing — I hate seeing new developments which inevitably end up with a Giraffe, a Starbucks, a Café Rouge, and a Strada next to each other — if I could keep one chain, it’d probably be this one.

Thank you, Nando’s, for being pretty much the only establishment in the area open past 10pm on a Sunday(they are open till 11pm). Ravenous after a long show at Roundhouse, we were desperate for something to eat. Restaurant after restaurant was closed… But then. what was that in the distance? A warm red sign glowing down the block. OPEN. Saved by chicken! Hallelujah! This is a good chain. They do one thing well, and I can certainly appreciate that. And ‘hot’ is actually spicy. Thank you, Nando’s, for coming through for us when we really needed a friend(to feed us).

It’s Nando’s isn’t it. You know what you’re getting, unless you’re a tourist or chicken-ignorant. But this one is Camden. Meaning you can pop here for a quick and tasty bite before a gig. Or stop by before a night out. Or meet friends here before hitting the markets. It’s what Nando’s is perfect for. Nando’s is the halfway house between crappy fast food like McD’s and proper sit-down restaurants with waiters. And vaguely healthy if you order right. If you need somewhere quick, unfussy, cheap and casual in Camden then this place is as good as any.

Copped out big time here and went for a medium for the first time since my first ever visit to Nandos almost 10 years ago. Was in a bit of a rush and didn’t want to spend much time at the end trying to quench a firey mouth. I had the wrap for the first time too, but didn’t think it was worth paying extra for so will return with flowers and my ‘sorry’ face to hot pitta next time. Liked the fact that the tables already had designated numbers here. Makes a lot more sense than the usual ‘here is your chicken on a stick’ method.

Nando’s please come to the Bay Area! The peri-peri chicken and peri-peri fries are addicting! The chicken is cooked to perfection and the peri-peri seasoning takes it to a whole ‘nother level. Nando’s chicken is the best rotisserie chicken I’ve ever had(sorry Pollo A La Brasa /LA)!

A large group of us visited here on Saturday night and despite not being able to take reservations, the staff were very accommodating. Due to the counter service, it was easy for a large group to keep bills separate and to order whenever one chose. My boyfriend and I shared a Full platter with corn and chips with another order of 5 wings, and olives. With a glass of wine and a beer, it came up to just under £29. Not bad considering we were stuffed! At times the Lemon Herb chicken was a bit bland and I was curious to try the Mango one. The medium peri peri sauce was a bit spicy but not over the top for someone who is a bit careful with spice. Overall, I would recommend this place if you like something quick and casual. We had a few vegetarians in our party and they didn’t find it difficult ordering from the chicken-heavy menu.

For me, it’s ALL about the sauce. Peri Peri goodness! For a chain restaurant I’d dare to even call fast food, Nando’s is a cut above the rest. It’s got a simple menu(if you don’t like chicken, move along) and no real table service but what is got is yummy chicken meals and sandwiches at prices that are affordable to all. And yes you got three sauce level to choose from(medium, hot and I forget the other name but ti’s something even stronger than hot), personally I always go with hot, anything else doesn’t provide that kick you’d expect from a peri-peri restaurant in the first place. I don’t go to Nando’s very often, but when I do I am satisfied and feel like I made such a better choice then going to other establishments who might be a bit quicker in service but lack quality in their food.

Who came first, the chilli or the egg? As I am a diehard fan of Swiss Chalet in Canada, it should be no surprise that I worship the ground Nando’s walks on. It may be part of a chain and dot every London high street but if I crave one thing it is the wonderment that is mango-lime chicken. In my house, we like our food big, opting for the whole chicken platter and ½ chicken meal… yes, we can eat it all and still have room for dessert. Spicy rice is by far my favourite side dish while coleslaw comes in a close second as the only veg., oops! I have to mention that I do not feel extreme joy for all Nando’s establishments. My Camden branch has particularly friendly staff who always make sure my take-away bag is loaded to the brim with all the saucy fixings. Another local venue offers nowhere near the same standard of service and the Debbie-Downer at the till tends to make the chicken less tasty. In the world of Nando’s, chilli came first, my flaming mouth is sure of it.

Nowhere near as good as the Churrasquerias I’ve been to in Little Portugal when I visit Toronto, Ontario. Can’t speak to authenticity as I’ve never actually been to Portugal. Tasty nonetheless. Whenever I pass a Nandos I’m reminded of a scene from an episode of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps where Janet talks about this fancy Portuguese restaurant she found. She raves about it for awhile and then says… «It’s called… Nandos(pronounced with an attempted accent)». heh, funny. The location in Camden Town is a short walk for me so it’s convenient. It’s location on Camden High Street also means it’s close to the bustle that many people find themselves in while visiting Camden Town so it’s convenient for others as well. I believe the fact that you walk up and order and get your own napkin/settings and drinks is what helps to keep their prices down, and I do believe the prices are quite reasonable. Also, if you find yourself going there relatively often you can start a «frequent visitor» card where you collect stamps and then get free chicken. Sounds good to me. As others have noted, you have your choice of how spicy the sauce is that is brushed on the chicken as it is grilled to finish it(it is initially rotisserie grilled). I enjoy spicy foods and I enjoy the flavor of their sauce. Given this, my preference is generally to go with Hot and bring a bottle of the Extra Hot to my table with me proceeding to smother my chicken with the sauce. In terms of sides I usually go with rice and cole slaw or chips and cole slaw. Once again, drenching the rice or chips with extra hot(and maybe some ketchup on the chips). The cole slaw isn’t the best but it provides a nice cool down from the sauce. They also serve a Portuguese lager in the bottle. Decent and also a good cool down from the sauce.

I know it’s a strange place for a vegan to recommend for dinner, but Nando’s has served me well over the last few years. As a vegetarian I chowed down on the beanburger with as many sides as I could manage and was good to go; these days I’m satisfied with the veggie pitta(minus the mayo), sweetcorn and spicy chips. I’ve visited this particular branch of Nando’s a few times because of its proximity to gig venues, and each time it was nice to be able to suggest it to my bandmates. They didn’t have to worry about me not being able to eat OR worry that they wouldn’t be able to secure the piles of meat they like to eat every day, so everyone was a winner! I treat a trip to Nando’s as an opportunity to eat things I normally don’t and thoroughly enjoy them, so the spicy chips are a firm favourite, as are the unlimited refills of fizzy pop. The humungous olives mixed with marinaded garlic call my name every time I’m ordering food but I haven’t yet splurged the £3 or so they cost. Everything else is pretty reasonably priced though and I never spend more than a tenner on a very filling, healthy meal.

I was dragged to this Nando’s on the weekend after a heavy night out. My friends insisted that it was the perfect hangover food going which would be true if their plan was to make me vomit up all the alcohol from the previous night that was still in my system. Okay, that’s a bit harsh but i was hardly impressed by the whole experience. Firstly, you practically serve yourself which wasn’t impressive. Secondly it took me a minute or two to work out the menu. After all that the chicken was not as impressive as my mates made it sound, being a bit lacking in the meat department. The hot sauce was also not as hot as it sounded so had to bathe the rest in additional sauce. The sides boosted the whole meal but really it wasn’t very enjoyable and i couldn’t see myself ever going again.

I know it’s a chain but I can’t get enough of Nando’s chicken. I eat in occasionally but I frequently take out and indulge at home. The beauty of Nando’s is that you know what you are getting and the standard is always high. You can order your chicken how you want, Lemon and garlic(not spicy), medium hot(speaks for itself), and hot. I like hot food but found the hot a little too tangy. My tip is to go medium and add a little hot sauce to suit your taste. The sides are great. Jambalaya rice, corn on the cob and coleslaw are items that compliment the chicken well. To finish off grab a couple of nata. Nata are Portuguese custard tarts and oh so good.
