I’m from South Africa and lived around the corner from the very first Nando’s. I now live in the USA, so it’s always fun to come overseas and find a Nando’s.
The food is excellent. It deserves a 5
Once we ordered, we waited quite a long time for the order and they forgot to bring my daughters meal. We asked for it, and they forgot again. Eventually after asking to more servers we got her order after everyone else was finished their meal. The service deserved a 2.5.

This was recommended by a Libanese friend. One in our group werr Libanese. So he ordered seversl commutual dishes we ate from. At the beginning appetizers, then main courses, which werr out together for a more commutual eating style.
The price is more on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. The service was not that on the point. We had to remind him about one dish and a softdrink.
The restaurant was not that spacious, but spacious enough. There was a nativr atmosphere!

Not sure why we keep coming back after the gym midweek evenings. Something always goes wrong where it be below average service, 30−45min waits for food, or one person waiting super long for food while the rest has arrived, or just general lack of common sense from staff or sometimes cold food and inconsistent portion sizes. At least they’re consistently inconsistent I guess.

Nandos is seen as being a restaurant of decent fare in the UK but being a Kiwi where it is a fast food restaurant back home I’ve never been fully able to enjoy it as a sit down restaurant.
However, the food is decent and they pump it out quickly so it’s a great place to pick up a tasty chicken meal in busy London.

Excellent place to eat. Great Intl restaurant. All chicken is very flavorful but a little dry. I would think that is intentional. Cesar Salad, humus, and corn on the cob are unexpectedly amazing. And my favorite as an American free refills!

Decent chicken and sides. Spicy wasn’t that spicy at all, so had to use the hot sauce. You can order on ground level or downstairs, but they seat you.

I used to call this place the rich man’s KFC but it’s more than that, maybe its the Bodeans of the chicken world but they need to sort out the queuing system for a seat. Perfectly placed to split a days shopping on Oxford Street.

Une chaîné de restaurants sud-​africaine, spécialisée dans le poulet grillé. Mais attention, rien à voir avec KFC! Le concept: on repère le numéro de sa table et on va commander au comptoir. On a le choix: burgers, wraps, poulet (¼ ou ½ ou entier) accompagné de frites, pain, coleslaw… Il faut préciser si on veut que ce soit très épicé ou non. Ce n’est pas trop trop cher (autour de £7 le plat).
Ensuite, on va chercher l’assaissonnement (sauce pimentée) et les couverts, avant de retourner à table. J’ai trouvé la marinade bonne, mais bon, ça reste un poil sec. Le restaurant est vaste et ça reste assez peu équilibré. Ca fait une bonne sortie en famille pour faire plaisir aux enfants.

Oh i do love Nando’s, i really really do. And even though its a chain and the menu is the same everywhere, i still get excited when i visit a new branch for the first time, like this one. The food is just oh so tasty and so cheap and cheerful. They have also recently added salads to the menu, and im not usually one for ordering salads in a restaurant because they are usually so overpriced for what is essentially a bowl of lettuce, but the nando’s salads are really great.

This is the popular chicken chain come to another location in Soho.
With an open plan, it is very cold n the winter with long queues in addition to blasts of chilly air no matter where you sit.
With 2 floors, it does have lots of places to sit and plenty of friendly helpful staff who have always fixed any problems we have had with our meals.
Moving beyond initial teething problems as all places have, Nando’s has established itself well in this new location and offer some great meals.
I suggest making sure if you are hungry to get a double portion of chicken as the single/​quarter portion of chicken is small.
