Short and simple review… Steak Sandwich — tender, perfectly cooked egg Scotch Egg — Nice and hot, seems reheated instead of truly fresh, probably made earlier in the day and reheated because the meat was drier on the outside and moist on the inside. but really good. Fish and Chips — corn meal batter, very moist, but fish had no flavor. GREAT service

Stopped in on a Sunday for casual fall brunch with friends. We sat outside with a bit of prosecco, perfect for people watching facing the square(only two heaters, get a seat close by!). There were several different street performers in the square across the time we sat there. The charcuterie plate was excellent — parma ham, charred artichokes, rocket, mozzarella, pesto, olives, sundried tomatoes and toasted pita. We followed charcuterie with more snacking and desserts — sweet potato fries, a tomato mozzarella salad, the strawberry mess and a red velvet cupcake! The fries were good — served without a special sauce, but perfectly good with ketchup. The mozzarella salad was fresh, with big pieces of basil and a balsamic drizzle — I would order it again!). The red velvet cupcake was a bit dry, and the strawberry mess was a mess — soupy vanilla soft serve with not enough strawberries. Skip the dessert, get another glass of prosecco and enjoy the view!

Not sure how you can«run out of» half the desserts on your menu by 8:30pm. When they finally found one they could serve(the strawberry mess) it arrived as basic soft serve ice cream in a bowl with some strawberries on top. No meringue, white chocolate or sauce as mentioned on the menu. We waited 25 minutes and the other dessert didn’t show. When we got up to leave, we informed them we’d be paying for our drinks only as one dessert was half of what was listed and the other didn’t even arrive. They were shocked but didn’t apologise — only saying«the kitchen is having issues tonight». The wait staff were openly fighting/arguing with each other. Disappointing. Don’t waste your time or money here — it’ll ruin your night.

One of my favorites brunch places in London. The English platter is just amazing! The place is lovely.

This was a lovely place to stop in Leicester Square for a snack and a drink. Our waiter was very friendly, they offered interesting beers and the scotch egg was excellent. I will definitely stop by again!

We stopped in to Muriel’s Kitchen for breakfast one morning and were very pleasantly surprised. I’d expected a total tourist trap(because they are right there on Leicester Square) but it was good. We got there shortly after they opened and were promptly seated. It’s a quirky space with lots of personality. Dogs are a recurring theme, and you’ll find fake(?) ivy winding its way through the open metal legs of tables and through light fixtures. We were seated next to a four-top where the seats were actually swings suspended from the ceiling(and discretely chained to the floor). Interesting! We both ordered a pretty basic breakfast — eggs, toast, sausage, orange juice and coffee — and it was delicious. I thought it was kind of odd to serve it on a cutting board instead of a plate, but I just chalked that up to the quirky nature of the restaurant. The server was excellent. He was fast, efficient, and funny. He was also kind enough to get my husband a jar of orange marmalade from the kitchen when they didn’t have any of the small packets you normally see in restaurants. If I am fortunate enough to return to London, and stay at the same hotel nearby, I’d definitely return and make this my breakfast spot.

Stopped in this restaurant to grab a bite to eat. THe décor is interesting. Its like the took a tea party to south carolina. We were promptly seated and our drink order taken and delivered. I ordered the sherards pie which I am happy to report was made with lamb and not beef. Cant stand beef shepards pie since lamb has much more flavor. They brought me a generous portion of shepards pie which tasted very good and perfectly cooked. I was told that the fish and chips were just ok.

I started off going to the Kensignton Muriel’s Kitchen. I loved how authentic it was and that the menu changed by the season. The food was always delicious and healthy — a big plus in my book! Was unfortunately disappointed by the new Leicester Square restaurant. The food and service were average — prices a bit high for the portions. I wish restaurants didn’t lose their authenticity when they branch out, but in this case, it does feel like that has happened…

Waited ages to get served. Salad came without the olives and haloumi, when informed staff, they brought the same salad back with uncooked horrible haloumi. Good place for coffee and cake, otherwise don’t bother!

One word: awful. I had been to Muriel’s in Soho before and was really impressed by it; I had great food, good coffee, the service was good, love the décor, all good. So I took my sister there for breakfast the other day but when we got there we were told the kitchen was closed so we were given a voucher for buy-one-get-one-free on breakfast at the Leicester Square location to make up for the inconvenience. We thought that was a great way to make up for it and headed on down ready to eat. When we got there we were helped quickly and sat right away but then we waited. We waited for a long time to be served and our server wasn’t really at the top of his game. Once we did get served my breakfast sandwich was cold but I didn’t get a chance to say anything because we never saw a server again. As other customers left their dishes were left on the tables around us. My sister ordered the pancakes but they didn’t come with enough maple syrup and since our server was nowhere to be seen I got up to ask for more. When I did I noticed other customers looking around for a server so clearly the problem wasn’t unique to us. I asked another server for more syrup but when he came by the table again he didn’t have it so we had to ask for it again. It finally did come but we waited 5 – 10 mins for it. Once we were done I had to get up again to ask for our bill. Another 10 minutes passed and nothing happened so I got up to ask again. Then the server came by our table and admitted he had forgotten so he rushed to the till to get it for us. Then when he did he forgot to take one of the breakfasts off from the voucher we had. In total we spent over an hour there and most of that time was spent waiting. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed the lunch menu and had such a good experience the first time but I will never go back and I will warn anyone away from going there.

Girlfriend got a go green juice which was very good. My breakfast waffle was pretty horrible with absolutely no flavor. The bacon was also very bland as well. The fried egg it came with was pretty good. I cant speak to the majority of the menu, but it seems as if the juices are very good, but the hot breakfasts are pretty poor. Service was not very good, but for London standards I guess was okay. I wouldnt come back.

The champions breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend it; has a minimal spicy kick from the chili, followed by sweet honey, and then the freshness of the avocados. The orange juice is really fresh as well. Also had the granola jar, but was a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall very cool atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food.

Croyez moi !

Great staff and a friendly service. In a prime spot in London’s Leicester Square you would expect to pay more for your food, but you expect better food at the same time. My eggs florentine looked beautiful when served, but was sorely disappointed that they were overdone. What a crime! Great coffee and high quality, such a shame about the final product.

Delicious food with friendly service, how can you go wrong? We sat outside but the restaurants ambiance is beautiful. We ordered nachos, steak burger and a steak, all were delicious. The service is exceptionally good. Would definitely be back.

I love this restaurant in Leicester Square! The ambiance of the place is just fresh anf breezy… Very welcoming. In fact we were just walking by and decided to dine there… The menu is nice… I ordered the Salmon cake but I didnt know it was made with potatoes. I decided to sent it back the manager came over and ensure we were ok and gave me my meal for free… I enjoyed the food and service… I would definitely come back!

We were looking for a place to eat and went in to Muriels in Leicester Square but we did not like what was on the menu which one of the employee showed us So we said thank you and went on… so far so good. Just when we were out of sight i could here the employee making fun of us and imitate us in nt a flattering way, unfortunately i was talked into not going back and ask what he was doing by my friends. However i mailed Muriel’s and asked if this is there policy… They didn’t even respond so i haven’t much good to say about this company. Worst service ever!
