Haven’t been to a better curry house. Excellent food, value and service. Only room for improvement on the décor, and can be cramped.

We really enjoyed our meal at Munal and it was reasonably priced. It was quite some time ago now so I plan to go back and leave a more detailed review next time!

We ordered delivery early on a Friday night. The deliveryman got caught in traffic but was apologetic as it was out of his control anyway. The portions are huge and well prepared. I don’t know if I would call it the best in London, but certainly one of the better offerings in the Putney/Richmond/Kingston area. Will order again.

We have been getting takeout from Munal for years and years(I think I’ve only eaten IN the restaurant once, simply because it’s just easier to get food and bring it home to disabled mum who really doesn’t want to go out at night). Having gone vegetarian a couple of years ago, I gave up my favorite Chicken Korma and exchanged it for a Vegetable Korma — same thing — just no chicken — and it is still THEBESTKORMAINTHEWORLD. I had Chana masala too(chick pea curry) but it was just too spicey — next time I’ll just toss a can of chick peas into the korma when I get home). Everything else is always superb — naans are excellent — each dish is delicious — TOPMARKS!!! Won’t go anywhere else.

Always order from this place my partners Friday night meal. Amazing food. 1st time I ate here I was in my teens and with my mum. Still eat and order here and I’m 39. Sometimes the delivery can take a while but to be expected in such a popular place. We normally order over phone and collect it ourselves as we’re local and they give you discount for doing so.

Agreed Munals is certainly the best Curry house in London by a long way… worth booking a table as it’s always full. The price will seem a little higher than most, that is until you see the portions! doggy bag is often required! Delivery avail but definitely worth the trip out…

It’s not often you find a little jewel, but when you do, you want to shout it from the rooftops. The Munal has been in he same location for over twenty years and the staying power has not brought about any kind of complacency. As a Nepalese Tandoori, it offers a few different twists on the usual post pint curry, and this is best displayed by the clientèle. Pop stars and TV celebrities mingle with the locals as sizzling skillets with skewers of Chicken covered in rich aromatic spices are produced from the kitchen. If you’re a local who has had his head in the sand for two decades, or just passing by do not miss this at any cost. It’s a treat.

This is the truly the best and most reliable Indian restaurant I know in London. It is really not expensive either. As a Nepali restaurant its pretty similar to the usual Kashmiri style food you find in most Indians but with a slightly richer flavour and a few extra dishes. The Momo starter is a must have. I have taken many curry fans out here and every one of them has agreed that you rarely find a restaurant with the consistent quality of this place. I’ve never eaten a dish here that’s been a disappointment and never seen anyone else disappointed either. The parathas here have ruined me for virtually every other Indian restaurant I ever go to. Quite an amazing place, well recommended. Shame it’s so far out in the sticks… A real find.
