Fairly basic café — nothing pretentious, but huge portions and really good value for what you get. I had the #1 breakfast for £4.50 and struggled to finish the toast, beans, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, eggs, bacon and tea but have been back a couple of times and would definitely recommend. It’s rarely busy and there’s plenty of seating so you won’t have a problem getting served, took them about 10 minutes to cook the food as well.

Probably the best place to have a proper English breakfast. After a long night in London town, we decided to have a proper English breakfast before we headed to the Camden market. The waiter /owner was a lovely young man who tried to fulfill all our wishes. The menu was full of delicious meals. Not only the different sorts of breakfasts were very convincing, also the choice of smoothies and lunch meals was ace. Unfortunately he didn’t have any black pudding, but i got some bubbles for free. He treated my friends and me very kindly and he was really polite. I had breakfast no.5, apparently one of the biggest, but anyways, it was really yummy. Because of the really good service he gave us, I tipped him a couple of quid and he couldn’t believe his eyes. We promised him to come back. :)

This café. is quite bland and the food even blander. For Mediterranean food I would have expected higher quality, it’s as if they have been in England for too long and have slightly lowered the standards. The special of the day was Chicken and Chips for £4.50, and although they were huge portions, it didn’t taste of anything spectacular. The place has a feeling like a workers café, with cheap chairs, and plastic bottles of ‘brown sauce’ and ‘red sauce’. Fine food but dont expect any frills,

Even if I wasn’t so hungover, I still don’t think I could have gone for the ‘Number 6′ breakfast. Full breakfast(number 4 at a bargainous £4.20) is giant sausage, bacon, 2 eggs, couple rounds of toast, bubble and squeak, 2x black pudding(which they’ve already peeled for you), tomatoes, mushrooms, beans(see the photos) the number 6 is all that PLUS chips PLUS onion rings PLUS a burger. For £6 though a huge bargain The portions were huge, properly cooked, tea included, olympics on the TV. Can’t believe I’ve not gone here before but I definitely will again. And next time I’m going to make sure I’m not so hungover that I can’t finish it — it was such a waste and I’m still angry at myself!

What a café! Incredibly cheap full English breakfasts with tea and all the trimmings — only 4.20! Lovely waitresses, great service, the only problem with this place is that you’ll never finish anything you get served. Don’t go anywhere else in Camden
