It was Sunday. My son had an ear problem that was making him miserable. Could have been an infection. Getting an «emergency appointment» with our GP requires empirical evidence that a limb has just fallen off. So, why not go to this place, I thought. I had seen the Medicentre in Victoria Station so that seemed the natural one to go for. I called for an appointment and spoke to a friendly receptionist who took salient facts and gave me an appointment later that day. We duly arrived– it is on the station concourse, or rather above it. There are no stairs and the lift said a maximum of two people! My wife therefore came after. We arrived early but was seen straight away. I cannot fault the Doctor Kyle saw-she was articulate and informative and did all the things a doctor should-taking time for background and then gave us a detailed diagnosis which fortunately was ear wax and no infection. The cost is £70 for 15 mins, which goes up after that(you probabaly wouldn’t need longer). If you are in dire need of a GP but not in dire need of an A & E(thankfully) I would recommend this place. By the way, the receptionist said we could all fit in the lift for the journey down and we didn’t plummet to the ground!

Terrible service from a fill-in locum one weekend here was topped with 5 Star care from their practice manager after I complained. Can’t fault it, superb. Go weekdays, obviously.
