If you’re looking for a sweetly pretty dress with on-​trend styling, this oriental-​influenced boutique is worth a visit. Prices, although not bargains, (around £45 for a floaty little summer number) won’t break the bank. With the added bonus that items here have something a little different from the more predictable selection prevalent on the High Street.
Some of their designer-​influenced (Marc Jacobs ‘stylie’, for example) handbags are appealing too, at just £28. Although not leather, if you choose your colour and style carefully, you’re likely to find one that looks fairly convincing.
Staff are approachable and helpful. The boutique has a pleasantly girly feminine feel. A small downside, I found, was that after paying for my (non-​sale) item, I discovered on the receipt that the return policy was exchange only, within 14 days. As it differs from the now widely accepted ’28 day for a refund’ mainstream policy norm, it probably should have been pointed out at the time of purchase.
