The bar is nice itself. I was refused for no reason to have a drink. Never been at that bar before so was so wrong to say that I have been banned from that bar. I live in US and Obviously I have been mistaken for someone else. A bouncer«Miguel» was the most aggressive I have come across, especially towards me and my friend grab my hand and had racial issues And physically assault it me so I had decide to leave. The manager of the hotel was scared to talk much and gave us email to raise complain, he refuse to reveal the name of the bouncer or calling the security manager and furthermore refusing to give any details about the security team whom probably don’t have a lisense to work on the doors anyway! Will never be going back here again and will be doing everything I can to make sure at least one of them loses their job!!!

Cool place, located within The May Fair hotel. The hotel inside is nice, bright with white and black marble. The bar itself has a cool and trendy interior, perfect for a coffee meet or even drinks. Although the staff were friendly, it didn’t feel too genuine.

Came here last night after Mamounia Lounge, nice bar, and now it will probably become my local, having just accepted a new job at Park Chinois. It’s classy, touch of elegance, a lot of the crowd are office suiters, guests staying at the hotel etc. The cocktail menu is pretty good too, I had the champagne cocktail with pomegrante and was delish!!! Although not a fan of Moet, but it kinda worked, the acidic champagne paired with the subtleness of the pomegrante, and what i liked that there was the actual fruit in my drink floating around. Nice champagne glass too, the taller the better, tastes a lot nicer! My friends got a variety of things, my sour lady was quite nice too, egg whitey foam on top, but it was like a dessert cocktail. Great place for late night drinks.

It is a bar within the secluded Mayfair hotel, full of life, noise and a buzzing atmosphere.

Have been staying in attached May Fair Hotel for a week(separate ecperience. Amazing.) However this place has been mediocre at best. Attitude-filled staff — I’m staying at your hotel for several hundred pounds a night — loosen up. Today, ordered a Hendricks Gibson. Bar tender looked at me like I had three heads. I had to literally say«take Hendricks gin. Put in cold glass. Add three pearl onions. Kick the vermouth to the side with a steel-toed boot». Ok. I’m embellishing.

We went here for a group lunch, it feels very much like a bar though, The tables are arranged around the outside of the room with the bar in the centre. I didn’t really know what to make of it. They were clearly going for upmarket with some success but on the other hand the service was at times almost comical and there was nowhere to put your coat. The comical part being failing to take our dessert order properly and then when they finally managed to cook the right thing, smashing it on the floor! They were entirely apologetic and offered«something on the house’ but I get the feeling they screw up so often that they are giving everybody something complimentary to make up for it. There were some noisy, rich people in there despite it being 3pm — there is something of an atmosphere for sure. The food and cocktails were both fine, very good in fact. Drinks are very expensive but the food is well priced for what it is. A straightforward menu with something everyone will enjoy a lot.

Cool, calm and sophisticated but just yards from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly, this place is certainly the place to go for drinks and cocktails at almost any time of day. Quick service(although you’ll pay for it with a service charge, even just for drinks), the cocktails which are divided into long drinks, short drinks, champagne cocktails, etc. hit the spot whatever the time of year: a mojito full to the brim with crushed ice is great after you’ve just stepped off the tube at Green Park! Cocktails always look good and are topped with various guises of fresh, seasonal fruit and berries along with constantly topped up pistachio nuts at your table. You can see examples of the drinks from the photos uploaded. This place doesn’t do cheap, with cocktails between £9 and £15 on average, but certainly worth it for a couple as an after work drink in an oasis of calm, smartly decorated and jostic-infused toilets! Definitely try this place out — certainly better than the cocktail bar at the top of the Hilton and better than most other hotel bars I can think of, this place certainly has a contemporary cool feel to it not matched by many other places. One note of caution to avoid a false start — be careful what time you arrive — soon after arriving once we got told last drinks were 10.30pm, a bit silly when guests staying at the hotel were presumably going to be using the facilities anyway!

Hmm, the only way I’d recommend this place is to go with girls or if you are girls because then you will be guaranteed free drinks all night. Lots of rich American men tend to be around handing out free drinks to girls indiscriminately. It’s mental. The place is full of lots of middle aged drunks. I went on a Wednesday and there were too many drunk people telling me unfunny stories. I couldn’t really take it. There are these weird star shaped installations all along the ceiling of the bar, we all agreed that we hoped they were Christmas decorations because they were just HORRIBLE. There are huge windows encircling the bar so you can look directly out onto some posh restaurant where celebrities go to. The whole night the staff were shouting out which celeb was being chased by the paparazzi… huh? I didn’t like it. Expensive drinks, rich people — no sense.

The Mayfair bar on Berkeley St, opposite Nobo(you must have heard of it). Upmarket, posh, pretentious, overcrowded, expensive, yes it is all of those and more. Sometimes we need to feel good about ourselves and going to place like this makes us feel that we are achieving etc. Berkeley Street is near Piccadilly, Bond Street, Oxford St and is therefore fairly close to the centre of it all. If you are looking for an upmarket bar with upmarket people then treat yourself and go here. Refurbished about 24 months ago to a very high standard with stainless bar, leather sofa’s etc, you will be looked after here and you will pay for the privilege. Don’t get me wrong it is a great bar to visit but you will need deep pockets. Not a venue for music, more like a place to be seen. Maybe go here for a few early evening drinks and then onwards to a nightclub or late bar etc. Always a chance of seeing one of the stars coming out of Nobo, look out for the paparazzi and you know someone is in there. If you stay all night then well done, you obviously worked hard for your money or your trust fund is available.

If you happen to be in Mayfair after a concert or a delicious dinner out and are looking for a nice bar to finish up your night I recommend the May Fair Bar. Ritz is not far from this drinks bar, which has an excellent choice of cocktails from Margaritas, gold Manhattan, Classic Champaign Cocktail to Old Fashioned. I desired the Fresh Fruit Martini — most appropriate for a Sunday night. The prices range from £9.50 upwards… The waiters are very friendly and make sure you are well looked after. The bar belongs to Radisson hotel and from outside it is decorated with Christmas lights. When I was there business people finished off their work with a couple of after work drinks and more…
